Hakata Ippudo x Hatsune Miku by Rei Aisaka!
hakata ippudo, bangsar shopping center.
it’s been a while since i last ate ramen, and since friend was asking about it, so we decided to get some last weekend for dinner. arrived at the restaurant a little earlier to avoid dinner crowd, good thing is that the place is rather spacious so it was alright.
i ordered the shiromaru special, which is what i always order when eating at ippudo, while my friend ordered the akamaru special. the noodles was served very quickly, even before green tea, so the chef were really quick. both of them taste good, very flavorful and appetizing broth. the pork belly was quite fatty though, perhaps it was just the cut.
the portion was satisfying and i drank all the soup after finishing my noodles, which make me feel warm.. XD that’s the good thing about having soupy meals. although they were many staff working, but everyone was busying around, service was a little disappointing as there isn’t much attention given besides ordering and serving food.
hakata ippudo, the gardens.
had dinner here with friends couple weeks back, we ordered their set menu which comes with lots of side dishes beside the ramen. there are 2 different sets and we ordered one each.
first set comes with hotate mentaiyaki, fried chicken cutlet, baby octopus, takoyaki and egg. second set has salmon sashimi, edamame, scallop skewers, pork bun, egg, baby octopus and takoyaki. both sets comes with two bowls of ramen of our choice from the menu, so it’s perfect to share with four people.
there’s definitely a lot of food ahaha... and the ramen portion is quite filling too. everything taste really good, truly an enjoyable meal. the ramen soup is good and didn’t feel thirsty after, which is awesome. great place to go if you love ramen.
一風堂
Shouting intelligible pseudo-Japanese sentences doesn’t make the place more authentic nor the food taste any better, so cut it out folks. Especially one dude who was standing right behind and screaming at the top of his lungs. I couldn’t hear my own thoughts, let alone enjoy my food. I had to politely but firmly tell him to stand somewhere else to shout, because i was that close to leaving the place before the food came. Please stop shouting.
