His full name is Harvey Wilbur Roosevelt but prefers to go by Hal. He is of British, Irish, Dutch, North American, and German descent; His American father Patrick is a wealthy businessman/politician and his English mother Eugenia is a famous Wizarding actress. He has one older sister called Marcy who was sorted into Ravenclaw and as an adult becomes a healer. His Patronus takes the form of a heron and he’s also the very definition of Disaster Bi!
Hal was a hatstall between Hufflepuff and Slytherin for six minutes, but was ultimately sorted into the former which also happened to be his maternal grandfather’s house. He became a prefect and then went on to be Head Boy, which he considers to be one of his greatest achievements.
His favourite subjects at Hogwarts are DADA, Charms, Astronomy, and Potions. His least favourites were Herbology, Flying, and History of Magic. He was also part of the Duelling Club in which he excelled and also became the captain of; in his third year he also set up a drama club for a small group of students who put on their own plays at the end of each school year.
From a young age, Hal admired his mother and grew up surrounded by film and theatre. He was inspired by her to become and actor himself and eventually went on to study at the Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts. He was one of their all-time top students and was popular because of who his mother was and also because of his own talents.
During the Second Wizarding War, Hal put his duelling skills to good use and fought against the Death Eaters before and after the Battle of Hogwarts. He saved many lives and almost lost his own. Afterwards he continued his work as an actor and travelled the world to perform in shows and even wrote a book about his life experiences with the acting profession.
