I can see him being really into Arctic monkeys, HIM and Chris Isaac.

He feels terrible about the civil war and what happened with Maria and is often depressed about it.

He's also very insecure about his scars and bite marks. He doesn't wear anything that shows them around anyone except you and some of the Cullens.

When you two first started hanging out he was constantly asking Rosalie for advice, and still does when he runs out of gift ideas.

Had a phase where he tried wearing contacts to blend in more but it irritated his eyes enough to stop.

Gets really overwhelmed in crowded spaces bc he feels everyone's emotions, so he's not the concert buddy.

He still goes to festivals with you, but that's bc he loves you and not the festival in itself.

Has a huge vinyl connection.

Misses the 60s-80s A LOT.

He thinks a lot about what would happen if he lost you, and he can't see himself.

He secretly thinks Tanya is very annoying and foolish for being into Edward like that.

He's part of the school paper.

Reads a lot of books and often compares your relationship with fictional couples.

"Honey, you're my Nastenka" and so on.

Has a private library bc he can and why not.

I can see him fighting in one or both of the world wars (on the side of America, obviously)

He's big on geography and visited every country, collecting fridge magnets from everywhere.

He hated Bella at first but won't admit it bc of the Cullens. He also didn't understand why Edward was so open with her.

Mythology fanatic.

Didn't take P.E. for a long time bc of his bloodlust.

Isn't a fan of Spanish bc of Maria.

He has awful short term memory but an incredible long term one

HELL OF A DANCER. I mean really, he knows every famous dance from every decade he was alive for.

Was a hippie at some point (he doesn't like to talk about it)

Got his motorcycle license taken away a few times for going over the speed limit.(He wasn't putting anyone in danger tho)

Is addicted to energy drinks.

His fav monster is the violet one and his favorite hell is black cherry.

Can't say tongue twisters, blames it on his accent.

In over a century he never learned how to drive a car, bike guy till the grave.

Still has horses and rides, breeds and cares for them as a hobby.

He's very good at archery, both from shooting while in the saddle or not, he doesn't miss his target.

Got canceled on Twitter for saying that pineapple belongs on pizza.

Despite his tasting being mostly gone from being a vampire he loves Italian and Greek food!

Cracks his knuckles loudly to annoy people

Writes a diary.

He actually has a pretty good handwriting bc he studied calligraphy.

Loves Victorian poems.

He's a little sad that he missed victorian Europe for the wild west.

Writes his own books but never publishes them bc he's afraid of judgment.

He has self-image issues. He often compares himself to Emmett and hates how lean he is. Even if deep down knows he can't change that now it bothers him no matter how much you tell him that he's perfect.

Takes a bath every day despite the lack of need for him to actually do it. He just likes the hot water.

He sings and acts surprisingly good! He played in musicals too.

Knows people like Stephen King personally.

He's a DiCaprio over Pitt type of guy.

He watches the titanic with you every time you want him to

Collects real swords from all eras and all around the world.

He doesn't like Taylor Swift but listens to her with you if you want him to.

Loves when you get your nails done for some reason.

Played the "get Rick Rolled" meme w/ Emmett for months.

He loves classical music but instead of being Debussy obsessed like Edward he's more of a Puccini person.

Actually calls Carlisle and Esme mom and dad instead of their names.

Want to share a random headcanon with us? For the Hale twins

Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner!! I'm definitely channeling twin energy here as I am a twin too and that helped me think of ideas for some headcanons.

Headcanons under the cut.

Though they may not have a lot of the same interests I feel like they totally have some sort of favorite show or piece of media they both love to watch to do with each other.

I also feel like they both have gone on double dates with their spouses all together and Jasper and Rosalie both role their eyes at Alice & Emmett antics.

Like they have a special code or language.

They definitely gossip with each other especially about the situation with Bella in twilight & Midnight Sun and what they want to do about it.

I feel like they would certainly vent their frustrations about Edward. Cause as much as they love one another mutually I do think with all siblings sometimes you get fed up with certain things. Especially after living with them so long, I can only imagine it's like 10x worse.

Though they aren't biological twins, I believe they definitely share a special bond that the other Cullen's don't have with each other.

Twins are like a built in best friend so I feel like they would have each others back in situations and would confide with each other.

I feel like they would both roll their eyes and chuckle as well as give each other knowing looks at Edward's dramatics.

I feel like Rosalie would smile at Alice antics and Jasper would chuckle.

I feel like Jasper would snicker at Rosalie whenever her and Emmett are being lovey-dovey and she would give him a death glare. And he'd boom with laughter as would Emmett. Rosalie would do the same.

I also feel like at least once they've both gotten in so much trouble with Esme and Carlisle though they are vampires I still feel like they would have done something childish at least once. I bet Emmett dared them. Alice would be like I told you so.

Though Rosalie can be cold at times I feel like she would be close with Jasper. I feel like they'd be each other's lifelines. Yes, they've probably had time to overcome some of the trauma of their human & vampire lives especially with their respective spouses. I do feel they would be able to help one another. To be able to talk with each other about how they feel. Talking about the past especially when it's difficult subjects can be hard and I think they would be able to confide with each other especially Rosalie talking about what happened to her when she was human. And Jasper comforting her with his gift.

Twins are often described as your other half and I feel like due to bonding over such a long period of time that would perfectly describe them.

Do you ever wonder what would've happened is Bella died in Breaking Dawn? Like we know if little Ratatata ended up being a monster Jasper was the one who would probably have to destroy it, right? What if Bella guilt tripped him into not killing Regurgitation and he protected her from the rest of the family. Obviously Rose would protect her too. Just the Hale twins and Charlisle against the world. (ofc they would name the spawn Charlisle instead.)

If Smeyer was so desperate to have Rosalie and Jasper portrayed (to Forks) as Twins, why didn't she just make them actual twins? You can have mostly the same storylines for both of them with a few minor changes.

Like, for example;;

Rosalie Lillian and Jasper Whitlock* Hale

Twin Son and Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hale, born in 1915 in Rochester, New York.

Living during the Great Depression, they're father's family managed to stay afloat due to their father's job at the local bank.

Rosalie Lillian, the beautifully stunning violet-eyed blonde bombshell beauty of the family, remains the self-involved little girl who is in love with the idea of love and manages to find herself a match in Piece-of-Shit Royce King II, the son of the owner of the Bank her father worked at. She is turned by Carlisle Cullen after being assaulted by her shitdick of a Fiancée and his dickwaffle friends. Rosalie took her revenge over the next while of her vampiric life. Later, in 1935, Rosalie found, saved, and fell in love with Emmett McCarty after he was mauled by a bear.

Jasper Whitlock, the stunning blue-eyed honey-blonde badass of the family, was originally drafted into World War II until some very specific strings were pulled and he was sent home after the sudden, horrible loss of his twin sister. He later left Rochester to go to Texas to help his mother's family during the Great Depression - with work and other things. He suddenly disappeared within two weeks of being in Texas, he was turned by the vampire Maria who required him for her Southern Vampire Army. Later, in 1948, he found and fell for Mary Alice Brandon - more well known as Alice.

Rosalie and Jasper Hale were reunited in 1950 when Alice brought Jasper with her to join the Cullen Family.**

*- Jasper's middle name comes from their mother's maiden name

**- In this headcanon, Alice couldn't foresee Jasper and Rosalie being twins because she was still trying to get ahold on her abilities at the time, all she knew was they would 'form' a very close incredibly protective bond.
