“Demon Twins” but they're actually demons [Danny and Dan Todd AU Prompt]
It all starts when a freshly turned Halfa Jazz, carrying Danny and Dan's cores in hers after a war against the GIW, is sent by Clockwork to the DC Universe via the Lazarus Pits.
The LOA believes Jazz is some kind of Pit Demon, and Jazz doesn't bother to correct them. She's welcomed with open arms, and is even adopted by Ra's he already let the Detective get away, and there's no way in hell he's letting that happen again.
She and Jason click, but since Jason was still suffering from side effects from his dip in the Pits, he ends up putting his revenge before his relationship with Jazz.
Oh Jason, you poor sweet summer child.
Turns out their last encounter was so emotionally charged that Danny and Dan's sleeping cores were like: “This. This is the moment”. And as a result, Jazz got pregnant.
Danyal and Dante Al Ghul-Todd are born: Dante has memories of his past life, while Danny remembers bits and pieces as he grows up.
Here I use my "Canon is my playground" trick card, messing with the timeline and making the twins older than Damian— making them Damian's bodyguards by default.
Things happen within the League, and their mothers decide to send the three of them to Gotham with their fathers.
Here, the three have different plans:
Damian wants to prove himself worthy of being Robin, and thinks having bodyguards would make that difficult.
Danny wants to explore the other cities this universe has Aliens, but he also doesn't want to leave Damian alone (the quirks of being a guardian spirit).
As soon as Dan set foot in Gotham, he had a "Fuck you, get off my garden!" "I'll shit in your fucking garden!" ahhh situation with Lady Gotham, so now he doesn't want to stay out of pure spite (but deep down, like Danny, he doesn't want to leave Damian alone. Stupid core and stupid fraid bonds).
And on top of that, even though Jazz has nothing but wonderful things to say about Jason, the twins can't help but resent him a little, and therefore, they don't want to meet him yet (well, just Danny. Dan has already marked Jason as a deadbeat dad, and you can't change his mind).
So the three of them, behind their mothers' backs, make a deal. The twins will drop Damian off in Gotham and then go off on their own under the following conditions:
1) All three will have hidden phones with only their numbers, and they will have to "check in" (which is actually chatting) daily through them.
2) They will meet in person monthly at a neutral location.
3) If Damian needs them, for whatever reason, he has to call them (either by phone or by summoning them).
And so, their paths part.
Damian joins the Batfam without too much trouble (thanks to socializing with the twins, he's more tamed than the original: like, he doesn't try to kill Tim, but he does have beef with him). And the twins, for their part, wander around for a while under the identities of Danny and Dan Nightingale, and then settle in Fawcett or Metropolis.
And from here, how the Batfam discovers the twins can vary, but here are some specific scenarios:
• Tim discovers Damian's hidden phone and secretly hacks it with Babs's help. The thing is, a misunderstanding arises because, due to Damian's way of chatting, the Batfam thinks the twins are his older brothers.
• The Batfam, after a while, decides to investigate why and where Damian runs away from home monthly.
• The Batfam is kidnapped by a cult to be used as sacrifices, and Damian hijacks the summoning ritual to summon the twins.
I like to think Jazz has a more defensive ability. Instead of punching your problems, you talk to your problems. Better have strong defenses in case your problems turn hostile.
A little Nocturn ficlet for the Danny Phantom Phic Phight 2025
---
Nocturn watched the dreams of Amity Park’s citizens from within his lair.
Watching these dreams had little purpose. Without Technus's harvesting helmets, Nocturn gained no power from it. Unfortunately, while everyone else slept, there was little else to do but watch.
Each night, he and his sleepwalkers spread their dream sand, pulling countless humans and ghosts to sleep. Those with insomnia, or doing all-nighters with the aid of caffeine, were no match for the ghost of dreams. However, his powers did not work on himself, leaving him awake more often than not, even when he preferred to dream.
Nocturn paused to watch one particular dream. It was golden in hue, radiating such optimism and confidence.
It was a view of this dreamer's future—or her hope for it. A common theme. Tonight she dreamed of winning a Nobel Peace Prize. Apparently her second Nobel prize, having previously won one for medicine.
She gave a speech when she accepted the medal, thanking her little brother, her parents, and her teachers for their help and support during her research into ghost psychology and how to reconcile and unite the two worlds.
Nocturn had been drawn to this girl's dreams night after night.
It had nothing to do with the girl herself, of course. Nor the dream power he had sensed deep within her while at the mattress factory.
He was not drawn to the girl's dreams, either. He simply happened to notice them during the nights he could not sleep.
He narrowed his eyes at himself while he continued to watch the dream. There was applause and a standing ovation, even roses tossed onstage, and there was her bright smile.
The dream faded, and he sighed, hoping there would be a double-feature tonight.
...Perhaps... he could possibly be getting attached to the halfa's older sister after all.
But he was not father material. More of a wine aunt, if anything at all.
He wasn't interested in having a child. The burden of fatherhood, the responsibility. And the budding part-ghost would need someone to teach her. Nocturn was not that someone.
However... the abilities he had sensed within her—the power to make dreams come to pass... What wonderful things she could accomplish in time, given the right guidance.
Yet, time was the key word. He could not be bothered to spend such time on guiding a child. He was quite busy.
Nocturn continued to channel surf the night's dreams, for lack of anything else to do.
It was quite dull, when he had nothing to do with his time during the night.

Oh, look more Halfa Jazz brain rot!
Jazz groggily woke up, she let out a tired mrrr as she rolled over to pick up her phone off of her bedside table. Turning on the screen of her phone, Jazz had to cover her eyes as the bright light from her phone assaulted her eyes with the power of a small sun.
Letting out a yawn as she turned down her phone’s brightness and read the time. “It’s only 1:30 am. What woke me up now?” Jazz tiredly muttered to herself. Her ghost sense didn’t go off, so it’s not one of her and Danny’s usual troublemakers. The blast doors on the portal are closed, and for good measure, they had set up a ghost shield in front of the portal as extra insurance.
Her parents Jack and Maddie were gone for the week attending a ghost conference in Chicago, so they weren’t what woke her up. Jazz didn’t want to get up and out of bed and physically go search the house, but she had this nagging feeling that she should, her instincts where telling her too.
Not wanting to physically get out of bed, Jazz had decided to take the opportunity to practice a new technique she and Danny had learned when Mom Pandora was giving them lessons on the many different cultures and society’s of the vast and unending Infinite Realms.
Jazz sat up in bed and letting her ghost senses bleed over into her human form. Her pointy ears and fanged teeth became more pronounced than they already were, She could feel the familiar thrum of her core next to her heart. Relaxing and letting her mind clear, she focused, letting her ghost sense expand throughout her bedroom , feeling the echoes and imprints of her and Danny’s ectoplasmic energy left over from yesterday. Quietly giggling as an echo of Danny came to her vision of him in his little baby man form, getting spooked by one of her old Furby’s.
Jazz moved on from her room and into the rest of her house, feeling the filtered ectoplasm moving through the electrical lines that ran throughout Fenton Works and using them as a map to guide her ghost sense as she went about searching the house for what might have woken her up.
Her instincts guiding her to Danny’s room, Jazz thought about checking in on her little brother, but it still felt like she was invading his privacy using her ghost sense like this to check on him, even though Danny had told her that he didn’t mind.
After a quick check of the residential area of Fenton Works and feeling nothing out of place or any unfamiliar energy. She moved on from the upstairs and the main floor down into the lab.
As her ghost sense entered the lab, Jazz smiled, feeling the familiar and comforting energy of the ghost portal. She let a soft sigh escape from her mouth. Feeling nothing out of place in the lab and the rest of the house, Jazz let go of her ghost sense and prepared to go back to bed.
Then Jazz heard a whimper. If it wasn’t for her enhanced hearing, she wouldn’t have heard it at all. The sound came from Danny’s room. She chided herself for not listening to her instincts. Jazz huffed and let out a questioning chrrr and received a chirp in response. Jazz chirped back a welcoming reply, letting Danny know that he could enter her room.
Her little brother came floating through the wall, looking like he had just woken up from a nightmare. Jazz fully shifted into her ghost half and let out a low rumble of comfort and safety while she moved her blanket and invited Danny to lay down beside her. Danny floated down beside her, Jazz turned to face him and pulled Danny in a tight, comforting hug.
“What’s wrong, little brother?” Jazz asked her core, letting out a soothing level ten category purr.
“I had a nightmare” Danny groggily answered back, purring and leaning against Jazz. “and before you ask, it wasn’t about mom and dad capturing us, I haven’t had those nightmares ever since we came out and told them about us being halfa’s.”
“What was your nightmare about?” Jazz questioned, her aura flashing, letting out feelings of comfort, home, the sounds of her books turning as she read them and the smell of her favorite tea Jasmine.
“It was about the battle we had with Pariah Dark, I dreamed that he had at the last second had stabbed you before we could get the sarcophagus of forever sleep closed.” Danny let out a shuddering breath, “there was so much blood. Jazz, I couldn’t stop it. I couldn’t stop it.” Danny let out a whimper.
“Oh Danny it’s okay I’m here. Everything is OK, little brother.” Jazz rumbled out in a ghostly voice of static and noise that would make the living uneasy but to the dead and the liminal it’s as soothing and comforting as a lullaby.
After a few more minutes of Jazz comforting him, Danny rolls back onto his back and slowly starts to drift back into the world of sleep and dreams. Confident that Danny won’t have any more nightmares, Jazz let’s out a tired huff and starts to fall asleep herself.
The last thing Jazz sees as her eyes become heavy with sleep is a curious blob ghost peaking through her window. A regular who likes to stop by every once and awhile. The blob lets out a questioning thrill, and Jazz slow blinks to let the blob ghost know that it can come inside before she fully falls asleep.
Jazz wakes up to sunlight, hitting her eyes, and lets out a full body stretch, felling her back pop. She sits up and stifles a giggle at her little brother. Danny is curled up in an unnatural position with the Blob ghost from last night trying to groom his unruly hair. Getting out of bed, Jazz noticed that she wasn’t fully shifted back to her human half, but she was still partially in her ghost form. It was like she stopped halfway through her transformation back into her human half.
Jazz looked back at Danny and noticed that he was also partially transformed. It was something that was happening more often it was like the more She and her brother got used to their ghostliness, the more eldritch they became. This was something she would have to ask mom Pandora about the next time they go and visit her.
For now, Jazz is going to get Danny up and make breakfast, and the both of them are going to go on a quick patrol to check on the local blob ghosts and willo wisps.
DP × DC but it's a tired and burnt out Danny that makes landfall in Gotham, in this AU Danny is a halfa but it is his sister that plays the role he does in Canon and he only got his powers via ectoplasm contamination. He got burnt out acting as his sisters occasionally sidekick and her alibi in regards to their parents, so after he finally graduated from Casper High he opted to find himself while Jazz joined the Justice League.
So here we have a severely overtired and burnt out Daniel Fenton working at a local Lexbucks Coffee Shop when out of the blue he gets involved in the usual Gotham drama that results in a drive-by shooting wherein Danny gets shot. Danny, being a Halfa, gets up despite having been visibly shot in locations that would be fatal to anyone else but for him it's nothing and he goes back to work.
So begins the interest in Gotham's newest criptid; The Undead Barrista.
👀👀👀
(Lmk if you'd like to read this on my A03, and/or a version from his coworkers POV!) Ok so I did a fic!
Length: short boi. Save about 10-15 minutes.
Summary: see ask above. PLUS Danny sasses Gotham's Rogues Gallery into submission and finds out he really wasn't as useless as he felt.
Danny was second; he was the second child. The second smartest child. The second best as dealing with people. The second one to DIE and get superpowers.
At first, it was exciting! Phantom and Wraith, superhero duo of Amity Park! But Jazz- or Wraith, when she was in ghost form- had the ability to make people feel safe. To calm down situations before they ever started.
Danny had the ability to tear enemies to shreds, destroy infrastructure, and scare people.
Even Sam and Tucker agreed, although not in so many words. They didn't need to; after Dan, after they knew what he'd probably become, things really changed. He was watched, less to make sure he was safe, and more to make sure he didn't become Dan.
When he started sympathizing with that Fruitloop, Vlad, he knew something had to change.
So he flew up, up, into Earth's orbit, so he could look at the planet below. He didn't know how long he stayed there, but when he saw the sun set over the Himalayas, he felt something in him... settle, somehow. And he came to the realization he needed to leave.
It wasn't their fault- his sister, Sam, Tucker. He was the worse liar, so their parents suspected him of everything. He dealt with ghosts better than people, so Wraith was more trusted. As they aged, and Wraith looked the same but older and Phantom started looking like Dan- well. It wasn't the people of Amity Park's fault, either. Besieged by monsters, who would want to rely on one?
He got his things and left. He left a note saying he needed a fresh start, and then took off. He didn't leave the name of the city he was moving to. He didn't know.
That was how he became a barista at a Lexbucks in Gotham with a tiny loft apartment. And for the first time since he was 15, he was happy. Really, truly happy. He made friends in an astronomy club, and got together every other Friday withe people to watch old movies.
He was about to start a management program at Lexbucks. He would be 'needed' by Clockwork every Monday for an unknown amount of time (it was hard to tell time when CW paised as needed. Sometimes Monday lasted weeks, if he thought it was warranted.)
Clockwork being Clockwork, that sometimes meant he needed to solve some ghost issue, or fix a paradox, or come over for dinner, or take a vacation. (Was there a portal in his closet? Yes. Yes there was.)
He saw Frostbite once a week too, Gotham being closer to the Far Frozen, and was learning Greek- both ancient and modern- from Pandora.
He was finally going to ask out Eduardo from the bookstore across the street today.
That meant, of course, he was shot right outside his apartment. Danny left for work around 3 AM; his apartment was pretty close to the edge of Crime Alley, he was the store opener and they started serving customers at 4 AM. A match made in hell.
He heard the gunshots before he felt them, and reflexively turned invisible to change into Phantom. The drive by shooting ended as quickly as it began, leaving Danny to curse and change his shirt. Dammit.
Ah well. Gotta love Tuesdays, right?
Next Tuesday was when Condiment Man walked into the Lexbucks. Probably to try and rob it, but it was difficult to understand over all the giggling from his regulars.
"Bring Gotham to-"
"Sir, this is a Lexbucks. Please just order your coffee, tea, other drink, or something to eat."
Condiment Man gaped for a moment. "I- I don't want coffee. I want villainy."
He nodded. "Fair. But this is a Lexbucks. No villainy, just coffee, tea, sodas, food. No evil available except the evil inherent in corporations."
"I. Um. Ok?"
After a moment, Danny cleared his throat. "So about your order?"
"Um. Well. Can I order you to join me in my quest to bring Gotham to its knees?" He asked nervously.
"Kinky." He said, and Condiment Man sputtered. "But no." His calm demeanor changed in the blink of an eye. "Get your hand off the trigger for that mustard right now, or you'll be cleaning every inch of this place with a toothbrush until it sparkles!"
Condiment Man yelped and left. The locals- regulars and newbies- started laughing. He was pretty sure somebody started crying. His tips were glorious.
Maybe Tuesdays weren't so bad after all.

"I got a hit on Danny!"
Jazz spun around. "Really? You're sure, Tuck?"
"About 50%, the video is pretty grainy. But you tell me somebody else who deescalates villains with sass."
"Where?"
"That's the problem. They were using a VPN. It's somewhere in the US, probably Gotham, Metropolis, or League City- Gotham Rogues get around sometimes."
Jazz's face started to fall. "Tucker, thank you, but- it's been 5 years. Are we sure his face didn't totally change? I mean, remember Vlad's before and after?"
He sighed heavily. "Jazz, we failed him. I failed my best friend. I missed that he was hurting for 3 years before he ran. No matter what that note said, I was probably part of the problem. Give up on him of you want. But I'm gonna keep looking."
God, those notes had been like kicks in the teeth. If it was Vlad, he'd say it was orchestrated. But it was Danny. He very much did not blame them. He didn't want to go. And what was carefully not said, but pieced together when they compared the note left for him, Sam, Jazz, and the elder Fentons was they were the biggest reason he left.
XxXxXx
"I, the Baffler, will bring chaos and confusion to Gotham's streets with your assistance, Undead Coffee Person!"
That was, oddly enough, better than Inviso-Bill. Still. "Hey man, this is a Lexbucks. And I have a name."
He seemed delighted. "Wonderful! What is your villain name?"
"No, no, no villain name. I'm not a villain. Just a barista. My name's Jack. What's your order?"
The baffler seemed. Well. Baffled. "But aren't you going to join me in my life of crime?"
Danny sighed heavily. "Dude. I just wanna pay my bills. Coffee, tea, what do you want?"
"You can pay your bills with crime!"
The Baffler seemed so honestly pleased it was hard to get angry. Just a big guy in a dumb costume, and Ancients he missed his dad. But then he shot the cash register. "See? Crime!"
Danny snarled and, quick as a blink, The Baffler's hamds were frozen to the counter. "You have ice powers?!"
"And you have dumbass powers, you knockoff Riddler. I'm calling the cops."
XxXxXx
"You must be truly desperate to come to me for help," Vlad said with amusement plain on his face.
Sam narrowed her eyes, and Tucker scowled. "Yeah, well, we need untraceable cash, and you're the kind of guy to keep that on hand."
"And why do you need it?"
Sam grit her teeth, but replied, "let's just say if we find what we're looking for, the number of halfas might be back up to 4."
His eyes flashed brightly. "Well, then. How much do you need?"
XxXxXx
"Together, we will bring Gotham into the next ice age!" Mr. Freeze roared.
Danny narrowed his eyes. "Doctor, this is a Lexbucks. What do you want to order?"
"You, too have powers of ice! Together, we can bring Gotham into the cold!"
He sighed. "Ok. So frozen. Small, medium, or large?"
"I- I am ordering destruction, not coffee!"
Danny pointed to the menu. "Do you see destruction on the menu here? No. No, you don't. Your order?"
He gaped. "Chai latte? Mocha cappuccino? You seem like a smoothie kind of guy, want one of those?"
Mr. Freeze cleared his throat. "What kind of smoothies do you have?"
XxXxXx
"Are you seriously going behind my back with Plasmius?"
Wraith stood, arms crossed with a scowl. "Oh back off, you're nowhere near as scary as Phantom. Or even Skulker." He snapped.
Batman cleared his throat. "I'm told you have information about an incredibly dangerous illegal meta in Gotham?"
Sam shook her head. "I wish I could say I couldn't believe this. He's your brother."
Jazz swallowed. "You don't even know for sure if this is Phantom. This could be a legitimate threat."
"Every time I start to wonder why he left, all I have to do is remind myself about-"
"Sam."
"He's our best friend, Tucker! And she just might've gotten him thrown into Arkham, because Batman doesn't believe in rehabilitation!"
And another argument began.
XxXxXx
"I'm so sorry, Jack. I really like you, I do! It's just..." Eduardo trailed off, shaking underneath Danny's jacket.
"It's ok. You didn't sign up for getting kidnapped by the Penguin in a sick job offer."
He smiled a little shakily, and Danny hugged him tightly. "I'll see you around, ok?"
"Thanks, Jack."
Why the hell was he so broken up over a guy who didn't even know his real name?
XxXxXx
Thursday began at the sight of the Joker prowling around. Danny let his jaws drop and released a hiss that made fully grown ghosts back the hell up, following it by the unearthly rattle he learned from Fright Knight.
The Joker backed up. Swallowed. Put on his trademark grin, and stepped back in. Albeit a little further from the front counter. "Now, now, kid, I'm a clown! Kids love clowns, yeah?"
Another hellish hiss echoed from behind the Joker. He paled, then stiffened as a massive blue hand was on his shoulder. "Perhaps this isn't the best place for you."
The Joker laughed shakily. "Hey, pal, I'm-"
Plasmius' glowing eyes flashed, and the Joker's started glowing red. The clown's face fell slack. "This isn't the best place for you."
"This...isn't the...best...place....for me." The Joker slurred.
"Leave." Commanded the vampire ghost.
The Joker staggered out drunkenly. Plasmius turned his attention to the counter. "Can I get a large black coffee? With a shot of espresso, please."
Danny cocked his head and tried not to laugh at Kristen's face when the fruitloop sat next to her. "Sure. Kristen?"
She looked at him, wide-eyed. "He's not going to hurt or overshadow you. Right, Plasmius?"
"Of course," he agreed magnanimously.
Plasmius drank his coffee at the store. He bought a blueberry donut. Gave him a $500 tip. "The number hasn't changed. Call me, and we'll see about moving you before Batman and his friends crash the place."
"I can fly, you know."
"He has multiple jets. And besides, from what I've heard, Wraith is helping him track down the big, scary meta."
"Thanks for the warning, Plasmius. I'll think about it."
The elder halfa nodded and left, phasing through the door.
Jazz was hunting him. Jazz was hunting him. His sister was- it wasn't fair. He left her the entire territory of Amity Park. She had the undivided love and attention of everyone in Amity Park. Inside the roll of $100 bills was a business card.
He pocketed it, and yet another super came in. Plasmius was right. They were hunting him. Red Robin frowned at the menu.
"Hey, do you still have the mint hot chocolate?"
"Yeah," he said quietly. "Small, medium, or large?"
"Large, please." Red Robin waited in silence while his drink was prepared. "So, Jack Walker isn't your real name."
Danny shook his head. "Nah. If you're going to arrest me, might as well just call me Danny."
He observed him carefully, then nodded. "I'll see you around, Jack. Try to keep out of trouble."
XxXxXx
"He isn't a threat!" Tim snapped.
"You deliberately disobeyed me! We agreed not to approach the person who can use mind control!"
"You agreed, B. Wraith, just leave him alone, ok? He just wants to make his coffee and leave every day."
"Is he my brother or not?"
"Does it matter? He left." Tim snapped. "That guy is just trying to make a living. He's not going to hurt anyone who doesn't start trouble."
Jazz embraced both Sam and Tucker, feeling real, true hope for the first time in years. "It's Danny! Guys it's Danny, we can bring him home!"
"None of you are leaving until we can bring him in for questioning."
Jazz's face hardened, then she agreed. That was alright. She had a secret weapon. Two of them, actually.
XxXxXx
"Jack, you've got people asking for you."
Danny groaned.
"Sorry Jack, you're the one who made the rule about people in weird suits with guns."
"Yeah, fair. Thanks."
He stepped out behind the counter, and froze. "Danny?"
He swallowed. Blinked to make sure he was seeing what he thought. "Mom? Dad?"
For the first time in 5 years, he was embraced by his parents. He didn't feel bad about the tears. He couldn't. "Let's go home, baby. Let's go home."
"I can't. I- I'm not..."
"It's ok, Danny. We know now. About Phantom."
"I'm so sorry we made you feel your only recourse was running away."
XxXxXx
He had started to get the idea Jazz might be hunting him in a violent way. The only violent thing was the force of her hug, and the way her nails dug into his shoulder to keep him close.
Danny couldn't quite understand her over the blubbering, but that was fine; he had always been a sympathetic crier. Although the way all of the bats, Constantine, and Superman were shifting awkwardly, trying not to watch them while watching them, was pretty funny. It got worse when Sam kicked Batman in the knee and joined them. Then there was Tucker, and his mom, and- his dad was squeezing them tight enough to pick them up a few inches.
It took a ridiculous amount of time to get them all to stop crying- and Danny included himself. He had a good 5 years of believing he did nothing but harm to his human(ish) family to cry over.
"So just to be clear. You are not a villain."
"Yep. Used to be in the hero game, even."
"And you're not going to start being a villain."
He chuckled. "No, I won't."
"For now, your stay in Gotham is fine, though you should start using your legal name. If you don't like Danny Fenton, you can always legally change it. Can we call on you if we get a ghostly threat closer to home?"
"Absolutely."
"Wait! Danny, you're going home, though, right? With us?" Jazz asked hopefully.
"I'd like to visit," he said quietly, "but Jazz- I scare humans. Pretty badly."
"The ghosts negotiate with you, they listen to you! And people- look, now that Phantom's not there stopping fights by talking to ghosts before they start, or helping the new dead solve their murders- well. Phantom has been missed."
"Jazz, you do all that too. And you calm humans down way better than I ever have, so-"
"Danny," Tucker interrupted, "please, buddy. You don't have to stay, just come for a week. Things are different now. Promise."
And. Well. Even if they were wrong, he missed them. So much. "I can do a week."
for the core ask game, what about halfa!Jazz? If that's too out of left field for you, I'm happy with Ember core 👀 fire is fun
Let's do both!
But first, Jazz's. Blue moonstone - hands down. Apparently halfa!Jazz having a water based core is very common among fans. I didn't know that until I doubled checked in the Discord. Turns out I don't know nearly as much as I thought about the branching world of DP AUs.
Anyways, moonstone for 2 reason. The first is the iridescence and how the flaws in the stone somewhat look like waves. The 2nd is because Jazz is being into psychology, and historically, it's believed that the moon affected several different conditions, especially mental ones. And full moon madness is a thing. If you work in healthcare, you know.
As for Ember's, most people lean towards a fire core. Initially, that strikes me as red obsidian.
Why is this picture so small...??? Anyways, that color isn't right for her. So, mind goes to black opals. This particular one is called a lightning ridge black opal, so that's what I imagine for her only sphere shaped.
