between (historical) hamilton and burr, who’s more likely to drop their phone into a river while drunk, impulsively jump in after it, fail to get it back, resign themself to floating with the current into the ocean, get rescued by a boat, and then go then insist they need to be returned to shore immediately because they have work at 8 am?(
Hamilton: We have a problem.
Burr: No, YOU have a problem. I have an idiot who keeps making them.
Alexander: Punch me in the face.
Burr: Punch you?
Alexander: Punch me in the face, didn’t you hear me?
Burr: I always hear “punch me in the face” when you’re speaking, but usually just in subtext.
He goes ahead While you are waiting
I was told that Burr was lower than Hamilton, whether real or not the data, I really liked to imagine them with that difference. Is it not adorable?
Afterwards
Burr: *wakes up after dying* where... is this, heaven or hell?
Hamilton: Aaron Burr! Sir!
Burr: speak of the devil,
Hamilton: It's bout time you showed up, what have you been up to?
Burr: A lot actually, and seeing you here now has had me realize something
Hamilton: and what's that?
Burr: *pats Hamilton shoulder* I should of killed you much sooner...
Okay so before I start I should say I have a habit of not really understanding scenes unless they're very straightforward
Correct me if I'm wrong but in Your Obedient Servant, it's Hamilton the one who's "right" -- well obviously they both have their rights and wrongs but when Hamilton says "You stand for yourself" he's kinda right because Burr never made it clear what he believes in. "Talk less. Smile more.
Then he starts blaming Alexander for.... jumping at the opportunities he was to scared to engage with?
Well okay he kinda did steal them but most of the time it's not entirely his fault? Like when he impressed Washington like on the spot.
Burr is jealous you can't say he's not he starts almost every single song insulting Hamilton and for some reason his mother
Then we have Alexander who is ... aggressive no need to hide it he is aggressive but rightfully so because in his eyes he's just advocating for his opinion. (Isn't he?)
Alexander is open about where he stands he always had "I will not equivocate my opinion I've always wore it on my sleeve."
Also maybe this might be just me defending my favorite character ( don't throw tomatoes me loves a complicated man character) but it's PETTY AS FUCK to challenge someone to a deadly duel for telling people to not vote you as president
(either way I still ship them cause toxic yaoi always wins)
