ive had this character idea for a while but had ZERO idea what they'd look like so when i started drawing this i just went completely rando and im glad cuz i like this design a lot.
-CHARACTER RAMBLES-
i have vague ideas for the ship's captain but the commander is a Q who fulfills a deanna troi/guinan-like role on the bridge by providing cryptic insight and one liners
but because they're a Q, they're also a bit of a dick about it so its never the information that the captain WANTS, its the information that the captain doesn't know that they need
…OR only the info the Q wants to give out.
i think it'd be really funny if they spoke like they were from the early 21st century, in the 20's

to the people 300 years in the future they speak in infuriating ancient riddles but the ancient riddles are
q: "aight i gottabout 10 more minutes until 40 milli vanilli grams of this adderall kick in, lemme tell you im feelin pretty intelligent rn. ask me anything i bet i could answer that ho lickety shplit yurrr"
captain: "qommander what the HELL kind of ancient blabbering are you on about??"
q: [points to the romulan commander on screen who promises to cooperate] "yo this mans vibes be wack im talking MAD nasty yo. hoe's got the aura of a mildewy towel. on god."
captain: [on the verge of tears] "please."
