Happy Birthday Rafe Spall!

Born Rafe Joseph Spall. He is an actor, known for The Shadow Line, Pete versus Life, One Day, Anonymous, Prometheus, The Big Short, Life of Pi , Hot Fuzz and The Ritual. Second of three children of Shane (née Baker) and actor Timothy Spall. He was amed after the protagonist in The Knight of the Burning Pestle, a role his father played in the Royal Shakespeare Company and one he would later play himself, he always had ambitions to act. He also appeared in Black Mirror episode White Christmas as Joe Potter. Having achieved poor grades at his school, Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College, he left to become an actor and joined the National Youth Theatre after failing to get into his chosen drama schools. He has been married to Elize du Toit since August 14, 2010. They have three children. “On the behalf of scientists everywhere, I am ashamed to count you amongst us, Fifield. Really.”
