You: Umm.... Are you okay? (In Japanese this could also be interpreted in many different ways since there is no direct reference to anyone so it could just be is xxx okay? or is everything okay?)

Kokuyou: Huh? Is what okay? (Thus Koku doesn't understand what you're asking)

You: You look tired so... Are the rehearsals for the show tiresome?

Kokuyou: ....Tsk. That's not something you need to worry about.

You: I-i'm sorry.

Kokuyou: ....Sigh. The way this show is done is just different, so it's bothersome, nothing else.

Kokuyou: Distinguished playwrights or whatever, I don't like doing things the way Haseyama wants.

Kokuyou: The teams were decided on some dumb as fuck game, I hear. These teams are a joke.

Ran: Uwa, that's right. Nee-chan, let's have a leisurely chat some other time―!

Ran: Yosh, let's scram, Taiga! Uwahahahahahaa~~~~!

Taiga: Don't pull me into this sort of shit, please! I'll be killed if I get caught....!

You: I-i wonder what happened....

Kokuyou: Those bastards, did they get away.

You: Kokuyou-san. Umm, what on earth...?

Kokuyou: Those two idiots, they started soloing during the show today too.

Kokuyou: I've not gotten anywhere with them since the rehearsals and seems like it's not getting better (TBH this was a bit difficult, he uses figures of speak instead of saying it straight so I might've gotten this wrong xI)

Kokuyou: Especially Ran. Time after time he doesn't learn his lesson and tries to stir things up for some reason.

Kokyou: And that Taiga gets pulled into his shit. This is why mixed teams are so fucking tiresome.

You: Oh that's how it's been... I haven't noticed anything.

Kokuyou: ...You, how was today's show?

You: It was incredibly intense today too. All the way to the end I wasn't able to tear my eyes off the stage.

Kokuyou: Hmph.... If it looked like that to the customers, maybe I'll let it slide for today.

You: The scene where you fight with the peach branch, Kokuyou-san, it was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful and cool.

/wheeze NOW THIS IS WHAT I WANT MY CARDS TO BE HOLY FUCK!! Night sakura viewing with Kokuyou sign me the fuck up. Probably my second favourite card out of the ones I’ve translated so far, the summer outfit card is pretty good too though…. ;;;

I had forgotten how great this card was, holy hell xD I was saving it for the theoretical time my translations got closer to the hanami event but since it was requested I decided to do it for christmas hehe.

So basically, I've become the straight man[1], haven't I? I guess it's only right. But with the return of the autumn breeze, so too will the whale's bones be revived. How was it? Do you feel the atmosphere? Sin It seems the key is for the wrong door. Nekome It's pretty rare to find someone who has the same sense as you do. Kokuyo Stop talking about such nonsense already. If you really want to chatter more than work, I'd be more than happy to go out with you. However, I decide the flow of the convo, go it? Nekome Uwah~ That's a real nasty expression ya got there. Kokuyo It's whatever. But, if he keeps running away like that, he'll eventually get caught. I've seen a lot of stories where they manage to get by normally, but in the end eventually get caught in the act. Sin Is it the shadow of a bird or a beast that falls into the night? It's hard to distinguish. Kokuyo ...Hm.

Haseyama Oi, Un'ei. About what we were discussing earlier. Un'ei Huh? Sir, what do you by that? Haseyama Ha? What are you doing? Are you letting the flowers bloom in your brain too? I'm talking about the mixed teams that are going to perform the scripts written by the playwrights. Un'ei (scared mumbling)...O-Of course, everything is going smoothly...! Let's see...Akira-san's team members were........were... Akira He~y~, try to remember it, will you? Kei Akira, Mokuren, Yakou, Menou, and finally, myself. Haseyama Hm, wasn't expeting Kei-sama to be part of it as well. Well, Rindou, who's in yours? Rindou Kokuyo, Qu, Taiga, and Ran, sir. Un'ei Both teams were created under the supervision of a 3rd party overseer! Haseyama Hell if I care about that. All I need to know if it's a good card to play. Well, as long as it all goes smoothly...Actually, I have no idea who'll end up winning this time. Hey, little missy. Which one do you think is stronger? MC (flustered) Uhm, yes...U-uhm... Kei Haseyama, don't bother her with such meaningless things. Haseyama Well, doesn't matter to me who wins or losses. I'm going to go greet the teachers now. Work hard and keep the money flowing in. Rindou The owner is still his usual self. Akira That conversation was completely pointless. Anyway, there's no penalty for losing this time, right? Kei None that I know of. Menou (sleeping on the floor) (Takami and Sinju walk by) Sinju A-ah! Menou? I almost stepped on you. Takami Menou, wake up. It's not good to sleep on the floor with your performance clothes on. And, you have a show today, don't you. Hurry on and get ready. Menou (yawning) ...'s already time.. Sinju A lot of customers are coming in today as well. Good luck! Menou Heh. Don't really feel like going at all today, to be honest. This whole performance is just half-assed anyway. Sinju Huh, really? To me, it doesn't look like that at all though... Menou I wanted to focus more on the acting of it, but Mokuren kept pushing to focus on the dance aspect. Takami I feel like I've heard this conversation somewhere before. Menou Akira said he wanted to be the one singing, since he'd the top and all. Even Kei said to "Leave it all to the top's judgment." So really, in the end it was Akira's opinions that mattered. Takami The show looks well balanced though. Menou Nope. That whole thing is just a half-assed play. In the end, Akira left the directioning to Kei and left it at that. Takami I see. That's very Akira. Menou If you aren't gonna do your best with the acting, why even appoint me in the first place. Sinju Ah, Menou! Don't just go back to sleep! Takami For now, why not just stay at the wings? You don't want to leave a hole in the show, don't you? Menou Hm, yeah...guess I have no choice. (Menou leaves) Sinju ...Is he gonna be alright...? Takami Menou, Mokuren, and Akira... No matter how much I think of it, it really is an amazing team. Sinju It really is. But if you think about it, everyone is in a league of their own there, aren't they? It'll be an amazing show, no matter what, is what I think. Takami A lot of them want to focus on different things. It seems hard to be able to focus on a single direction.* (Takami actually says Too many ferrymen, eh? It'll be difficult to steer it which is a reference to a proverb. I didn't know if I should've used the proverb or explain it instead so like...y'know. Here we are. lol.)

Chapter 3

Ran (singing Polar Night) Lico Hey, can you like, shut up now? You're in an awfully good mood. Even you you always complain how a pain it is to be the cleaning crew. Ran 'is b'cause I get to go up on stage~! The cheers after a show is seriously the best! All the stress is go~ne completely. Lico That's so. I'm SO glad for you. Sotetsu If I'm not mistaken, Ran was chosen for Rindou's team, weren't you? The other people were...Kokuyo, Qu and Taiga, right? It's a pretty interesting lineup. The performance looks like it's different from the usual P stages, but I wanna know how it actually feels for you when you get up there. Ran Well, now that ya mention it... Rindou, well if everyone is misbehaving, it's like he won't know what to do. As for Kokuyo... Lico Kokuyo? What did he say? Ran Well, all I hear from him is that "I'm the top!," but he's actually pretty good at supporting [the team] too. Even if I did go wild, I'd get crushed immediately by him. Lico He does? It's pretty hard to imagine him being that helpful. Sotetsu Not at all. Kokuyo's pretty handy to have around too. Isn't it great for you to be able to see it, Ran? Ran We~ll. He is the "oldest" top member. So I guess 's to be expected? But the performance right now is su~per fun! Of course, nothing beats being able to perform as Team B, but there's not much I can do about it. Lico Well, if you're having fun there's no harm in it. Keep doing your best, alright? Ginsei I think so too. Even though it's inside, the atmosphere is quite similar. Right, Yakou? Yakou (deep sigh) ..Ah, well...what? Maica You good? A bit too tired?

Yakou ...Sorry. It's just, this time the show is a bit frustrating. I know Kei is a bit strict, but even then most of the members don't have their act together. Menou is too focused on acting, and Mokuren is too focused on dancing. I didn't think it would be this hard to focus on so many things at once. Ginsei That's right...Even during the production for "Salva Me," Rindou was having a hard time to get those two to agree on anything. Yakou I understand they want to keep it moving....But this is my first time doing something like this, so it's hard for me to follow along. Ginsei Considering how it's Mokuren and Menou we're talking about, this is different from what I expected...I think. Maica Well, it must be so hard to follow since they want to do too many different things. What's the team's top doing? Yakou About that...Since he's a singer, he doesn't really think much of the performance side of it. Ginsei Taking advantage of his privileges...That's so Akira. Maica Don't you have your day job as well? Don't overdo it; if you collapse it'll cause a big ruckus. Yakou Don't worry, I won't go that far. The fact that I was nominated for this means there's something only I can do. Yeah be responsible lmao I won't let this chance slip by. I'll give it my all. Maica Well then, you should at least take a break from the preparations. I'll handle the rest of the decorating. There's no way you can show such a face to our customers. Chapter 5

Taiga Geez, these Hanami stages are so overdone...I can finally eat in peace. Kongou Oh, Taiga. Good job performing out there. My hands are full right now, but I'll whip something up for you. Can you wait a bit? Taiga Ye~p. ... Wait, there's something that smells really good? Kongou You could tell? I was excited to cook these dishes. An important playwright is coming, so I was ordered to make something a bit more luxurious. Taiga Ho~. So this is Hanami-special menu? The food is colorful. Even the decorations in the shop are flashy. It gives off a certain feeling, like "Oh, it's Hanami," or "This is spring." Kongou This menu's theme is all about spring, so hearing you say it has those feelings is a big relief. It's a Pea Pottage, with spring vegetables and braised white fish. The main dish is grilled lamb shoulder loin with fragrant herbs. Taiga Eh. Have no idea what'cha talking about, but it sounds awesome.
