I just reread Handplates by the incredible @zarla-s and once I found this song I immediately thought of Gaster. Gaster's characterization was so good I'm glad I finally made a tribute of sorts to it!

I tried to emulate the originals comic style ^^

his shadow begins to move independently forming into a silhouette of something with red eyes and devil horns.

the entity playfully tilts their head as their souls astral projection flicker's in and out of existence as if it's actively being rejected from existing in this realm.

"in most timeline sans is the one to push him off the edge... and I'm a sucker for the corruption arcs of the heros journey. you think you can handle the pain of the future lil guy?"

they smirk as they float around on the walls aimlessly. they didn't seem to be able to physically affect anything. much like a ghost... a mean one.

You insulted his only and last friend, oneplates is severely different from original handplates, infact you guess where the story takes place? The horrible test you see in handplates might've not actually dealt with that.

Infact wingdings might be a little different then what you suspect friend...

But still. It's best you try not to interfere with this timeline the creator isn't a nice one when the creations become aware...

Undertale AU’s!- who are you into? (AU Spoilers galore) Pt 2

Hey Folks! Welcome back to my thoughts on Undertale AU’s. So today I will continue what I started yesterday about all the cool AU of undertale I am into.

I really want to mention @zarla-s because they have a series of comics called Handplates. Its pretty dark story where it explores a tale of where Paps and Sans are experiments of one who can only be Gaster. Paps still tries to convey kindness and patience despite the hell he and Sans lives in. Sans is pretty sarcastic and constantly tried to find a way out for him ans his brother. Gaster occasionally experiences moral distress. Here is a sample (REminder none of the following art is mine! check out more handplates at: http://zarla-s.tumblr.com/tagged/z-comic)  

Next on the docket is @sansybones, who is the author of the comic series Darker Yet Darker and The Second Son of Gaster. (check them out at: http://sansybones.tumblr.com/tagged/darkeryet/chrono)  These two comics follow a similar theme to Handplates, where Sans and Papyrus are the results of an experiment that Gaster conducted. The origins of the skelebrothers are explored and take quite a dark turn to explaining their existence. Sans finds out where he came from and leaves Gaster to pursue something not as haunting. Then it explains how the two came to be such great pals as we know them in the game. Something I highly recommend looking into since I love how the author incorporated the existence of the fallen children and Gaster being the royal scientist on a mission to free the monster race from the underground. Another great artist and fellow comic maker is @smudgeandfrank. Similar to the artist of Insomnia, this artist utilizes color to the greatest advantage and it is so vibrant, its wonderful! Their story (called Reminiscence) is ongoing but pieces together the younger years of the skelebrothers.  (if you are now noticing a trend of sans and papyrus heavy stories, I guess you can tell who I like the most of the game. I even cosplayed Sans at a recent con, pics on my tumblr!). We even get the benefit of a skelemom who was a badass!! See sample of the beauty below: 

I think I’ll list two more, but there are many out there to love!

The last two consist of Underswap; where all the characters exhange the personalities with others within the game and Underfell; where everyone is a dick to each other. I have not seen the full background of underfell but its basically where papyrus acts like a more tough and douchier version of Undyne. 

I am a huge fan of Underswap since the artist created the cutest version of Sans called Blueberry Sans! He is a little adorable version of paps. Its so great, just make me happy. There isn’t a comic per se, but @askunderswappaps kinda goes fourth wall and incorporates questions from her followers to direct the story line from what I gather. Still pretty neat stuff. check out a sample below:

As for Underfell, I herd recently from @kiichigoshinku that it’s artist got fed up with people taking their art without credit and jumped the tumblr Underfell ship all together or wait, not. It’s still there, just needs a password to get to it. Which basically means no underfell for us. a sad story to say the least. Here is some imagery for you to fill the gap with:
