I travelled to Glasgow today for more snooker, and was greeted by torrential rain; I met up with Dan and we whiled away a number of hours on site waiting for the fac(ilitie)s check. It was a long dull day but made better by good company. We then tried to order a takeaway but were constantly thwarted in our efforts as apparently no one delivers to our part of town! We gave up and popped to Tesco which wasn’t half as satisfying.

I got back hoping to catch the end of the UK Championship final (York), but the credits were already rolling as Ding Junhui had swept Stephen Maguire aside. This disappointment was erased mere seconds later as I saw my name (along with my colleagues’) roll across the screen! It was the first time I’d seen this, and after watching my aunt’s name make numerous appearances on my TV as a kid, I felt very proud to have joined the club. Even Stephen Maguire looked impressed...

John surprised me again at school by driving straight from Tacoma to Bellevue just to see me :) That's basically an hour drive or maybe more especially when it's raining. This boy really knows how to make me feel like a real pimpin-princess! After school we even ate pho with my bro and sister too :) 

I got to see my handsome sunshine and eat pho! My day was definitely a good one :)
