June's Thread & Fabric Pack - Fireworks!

It's the first Monday of the month, which means it's Thread & Fabric Pack Day in the shop. Each month I pick out 3 of my handspun needlework threads and pair them with one of my favorite handdyed fabrics. This month's Pack includes:

Shadowed Fire Engine (100% variegated BFL wool)

Frosted Specter (merino wool/bamboo rayon blend)

Arctic Ocean (100% mulberry silk)

30 count Cocoa linen from Week's Dye Works

My inspiration for Fireworks! actually came from the radio over the past few days - it's barely into June and there are already firework booth ads on the radio here in Vancouver! I figured if it was already time to advertise for fireworks, why not put together a pack so you could stitch up some of your own? (Special bonus: the Fireworks! Pack does not come with that oh-so-special sulfur smell that real fireworks have :) )

Super secret wip 05.26.2013

Working on a new a thread pack for next month - I was a little nervous about these colors on this fabric, but I think it looks good :-)

Fabric: 35 count Confederate Gray from WDW Thread: Petite Dandelion & Petite Carbon Chart: super secret! (But I think you could figure it out if you really wanted to)
