Sleeveless A-line having abstract pattern in pink voided to brown chiffon, plunging V-neck inset with raw-edged white tulle and trimmed in pink ribbon decorated with various stones and sequins, dress having overall decoration of strung flat metal pieces in various forms, silk lining
I promised to take a picture of this beautiful silvery yak/silk blend, and here it is.
Really loving this camel-silk blend. Especially the lovely honey color provided by the unbleached tussah.
Three of my most recent batches of spinning that I'm planning on experimenting with plying in different combinations. Black's unblended Merino, red is a blend of Merino and bamboo, and blue is Merino and silk. Really like how well the silk blend spun for me.
Going to ply these two singles tomorrow. Merino wool and recycled Sari silk on the left and unblended Merino wool on the right.
First time plying yarn in almost a year. Turns out I didn't spin nearly enough of the unblended wool so I'm spinning more of that.
