Okay. So. A Finding Nemo ship I never see anything for but my girlfriend brought up and I can't stop thinking about. Gil and Hank. Just. They'd at the very least be friends and vibe. They never had screentime together, but still. I can see it. Octogoblin energy, tbh

For those that don't know:

Gil: a fish with a lot of internalized anxiety that he masks well with over confidence. He was injured and scarred by an eel sometime before he arrived at the dentist's aquarium. He's the team leader and immediately assumes a dad position as soon as he meets Nemo. He encourages the kid to work with his disability instead of against it and gets terrified when he thinks he hurt him. Definitely went through some major shit before the time of the movie

Hank: an octopus with a missing limb that never grew back as a result of a human child ripping it off, leading to him having a fear of human children and an aversion to touch. He's very bitter and bitchy, but still protects those that matter to him. He seems like a nice guy once you get him away from stressful situations, though

If they were humans, I'd want them to go have a coffee or go to a bar or something and bond over their pasts and similar disabilities. See what happens from there
