i don't get invited to things with my friend group so when someone suggests to me that if this were to happen, would you come? I get really excited and happy. But the worst feeling is finding out it's happening and you haven't been invited

texting someone and in a great conversation and then when it comes to a point where I'm not exactly sure how to reply with what I think, so I type what I think in a kinda jokey way but I get a rather awkward response and I know the person is probably sighing at me with annoyance and it feels really shitty. Maybe it's just me but it happens to me all the time
