Fore'er our Guiding Star Chapter 6: Ironclad Heart “I’ve got you,” she whispers, nuzzling the base of Catra’s ear. “I’ve got you.”
Eyes squeezing shut against a sudden sting, Catra buries her face in Adora’s chest, new tears seeping into the bloodied jacket. She clings to Adora, to the familiar refrain that brought her so much comfort as a small, scared kitten.
“I-I’m so sorry, ‘dora,” Catra sniffles, barely audible, breath shallow and ragged.
“No, no. It's not your fault. I shouldn’t have left him, I should have been more vigilant, shouldn’t have let my guard down,” Adora interjects, panting.
“It’s f-fine. I’m glad you”--her meek voice is interrupted for a labored intake of air--“you’re ok ‘dora.”
”No, it should have been me, not you. That arrow was aimed at me. Why did you push me? Why, Catra, WHY?”

Happy 15th birthday Avatar!
Wow! It’s hard to believe that this outstanding and groundbreaking series aired 15 years ago today! I remember it felt so magical seeing it for the first time. I wanted to live in this world that Mike and Bryan created. Every Friday I would stare at the clocks on the walls at school, pining for when the day was over, and I could come home and watch Avatar later that night. I loved the story, and characters so much. I grew especially fond of a certain firebender with a scar. *wink wink* I laughed with these characters. I cried with these characters. I felt like I lived with these characters. After 3 years, the show aired it’s grand finale, and it was so bittersweet. I was happy because such an amazing show happened, and ended in the best way possible. However, I was sad because it was over, and I wanted more. Bryke would later give us LOK tho, so we got a chance to experience the Avatar world yet again. I can honestly say that I’m almost as nostalgic for it as I am for ATLA. Thank you for 15 years of memories Avatar team. We’re all very grateful for them. ❤️❤️❤️
