💫🌱💫Part of my "office/fitness/healthy eating for hooping" prep time. Final harvest before the hard freeze. An overflowing bucket (10lbs?!) of fresh organic carrots with their lovely sweet green tops. Here's my plan: I'll eat as many delicious little raw carrots as I can (natural beta carotene tanner, lol!), cook some for hubby, and juice some with the greens, too. The greens are like parsley, so I could dry some too. The juicer pulp...good for smoothies, soup base/thickener, and also makes great healthy dog food...because I make some of that too! Whew! Finally... a little outcome from the garden which was a LOT of effort to get going here in the mountains. Tomatoes, peas, Swiss Chard, and cabbage did pretty well. Grapevines were already here, and some things got in a little too late to have enough time to produce. Got some sunflowers blooming! Hope this year's little gogi berry makes it through the winter. Same with my little herb garden and perennials (spend more $ once, and they come back on their own for less work later!). I'm sure the mints will he fine--hearty little suckers. Ok farmer Che' is moving a few things inside the *New*(!!!!)
