Maybe look up the seed list, and then see if any are invasive species in your area

Good idea! I looked up the seed list and I think the only invasive plant to my area is the California Poppy. I didn’t actually know this and I attempted to plan those last year. They failed, so maybe they just won’t take.  If I see them thriving I can weed them out.

If you have enough room/stretch in the area, baste the zipper as usual, then baste/top stitch so the teeth are about in line w/ the fold

I didn't end up doing exactly that, but I did end up with something similar and I think it worked out okay. Just in case I'm going to make sure that the vest I'm making comes down far enough in the back to cover the zipper. :P

I just checked on my phone and comp, try putting #yourtag in the search bar, and then make sure you sort by “Recent posts” rather than “Top results”. That seems to produce the same results as tumblr.com/tagged/yourtag on the comp

If done by a professional, it’ll be super quick! Small pain, but overall just pressure. Just please don’t get them done with a “piercing” gun (at a mall or salon) because they cause blunt force trauma, use inadequate jewelry, and can’t be sterilized!

I keep thinking of that piercing scene in Parent Trap with that lemon and then everyone's screaming and I'm also screaming.
