Wounds | V.E.N.O.M. Harley Vance X Reader

[ Warning: mentions of blood, cuts and bruises ! ]

⠀It had been a habit. He would come to your room by your balcony and you would patch his wounds. Of course, you don’t know who he is at first. But, when you saw him unconscious at your balcony with scratches and wounds, you freaked out and decided to help him out. You don’t want anyone to die — at least not on your watch.

⠀After patching up his wounds, he would thank you and then continue his ‘task’. The two of you never really talked to each other. Sometimes, you would try to talk to him as you patched him up but the conversation would stop just a moment later and things become awkward. You were always curious where he got all his wounds and scratches, but everytime you asked him, he would try to change the topic.

⠀All you know about him is that his name is Harley and he’s a magician. That’s it, nothing more, nothing less. Today, as usual, he came to your room. And again, with bruises and wounds. You opened the door to your balcony, letting him in. He walked in to your room, letting out a soft groan. You sighed at the amount of wounds he got, his wounds were more than the usual.

⠀You walked over to your nightstand, opening the drawer to take cottons, alcohol and bandages. He sat down on your bed before placing his wand beside him. You made your way to your bed as you tied your hair to a bun. You sat down behind him.

⠀Getting yourself comfortable, you said, “Harley, can you um... how do I say this in the most non-awkward way... Take off your s-suit...?”

⠀“Why don’t you just take it off yourself, darling?” he teased you as he chuckled.

⠀Crimson red dusted your cheeks as you managed to stutter out, “H-harley....”

⠀“Alright, alright,” he stopped teasing you before deactivating his suit.

⠀You cringed when you saw his bruises and cuts. From what it looks like, it’s still fresh. Blood flowing down from the cuts. You took the cotton before dapping alcohol on it.

⠀“This is going to hurt a bit,” you warned before patting the cotton on a cut.

⠀He hissed in pain when the cotton touched his cut.

⠀“Gosh, where do you get all this cuts...?” you said before sighing.

⠀Harley went silent for a moment before replying, “You will probably hate me if you know the truth. You will be scared of me like everyone else,”

⠀You frowned at his choice of words. It sounded not like him.

⠀“Of course not! Why would I judge you?” you said, still focusing on his bruises.

⠀He let out a soft chuckle as he said, “Heh. If there was a movie, you — of course — will support the main character, not the villain. Isn’t that true?”

⠀“Hmm... It depends on the villain. Everyone might just misunderstood the villain and that’s probably why they went bad. So, I’m still not going to judge them. Everyone deserves to be loved, y’know?” you replied.

⠀“... (Y/n) if you’re being that nice to this cruel world, everyone will take advantage of you — even, me,” he said which made you went silent.

⠀After a few minutes, you managed to clean his cuts. You placed the cotton down before grabbing the bandages.

⠀You were putting the bandages on one by one when Harley suddenly said, “I’m sorry if I said something I shouldn’t have said,”

⠀You smiled before softly replying, “It’s okay, really. Don’t worry about it,”

⠀For some minutes, there was an awkward silence between the two of you. You hated this awkward silence but you were too intrigued by putting on the bandages. A few moments later, you managed to finish putting on the bandages.

⠀“There,” you said softly.

⠀“Oh! It’s done?” Harley asked.

⠀You smiled before answering, “Yup! I bet you’re sleepy now,”

⠀Instead of replying you, he turned around as he grabbed both of your hands, holding it close to his chest. You were surprised by his sudden movement.

⠀He took a deep breath before saying, “(Y/n)... I know we only know each other for like a month but... I... I... I l-like you... No, I love you. I understand if you don’t feel the same way—”

⠀You cutted him off by placing your index finger on his lips.

⠀His eyes widened as you said, “I haven’t said anything about your confession yet. Why would you assume I don’t have feelings for you back?”

⠀His eyes were filled with hope when those words left your mouth.

⠀“I love you too, Harley,” you added.

⠀“I-I wasn’t expecting that to work so smoothly. I love you, (Y/n). I promise I will cherish you until the day I stopped breathing,” he said.

⠀“You’re so cheesy,” you replied as you giggled, crimson red dusted your cheeks once again.

⠀He smiled when he saw you giggling. He felt the warmth in his heart he haven’t felt for past years. He missed this feeling. He always wanted to feel that way, to find love.

⠀He closed the gap between the two of you, letting his and your lips meet. You were beyond surprised this time — since it was your first kiss. You slowly melted into the kiss as you kissed him back. He bit your lower lip, asking for entrance. You parted your lips slightly which he took advantage of. He slid his tongue in. Both of you fighting for dominance. Of course being new to this type of thing made you lose to him.

⠀His tongue explored your mouth, not leaving any millimeter untraced as he slowly pinned you down to the bed. You wrapped your arms around his neck, letting him dominates you. After a few moments, you pulled away, gasping for air.

⠀The two of you stayed in that position, staring at each other before you broke the silence saying, “Woah, woah... How do we get here...?”

⠀Harley chuckled before he replied, “Well, I guess we were kinda too into it,”

⠀He paused for a moment before adding, “But... since we’re at it. Why don’t we just get into it already?”

⠀“What do you mean— Oh my God! N-not there!”

⠀Let’s just say, the two of you were really loud last night ;) I hope you a good luck with your parents.
