Just an Intimate (get your mind outta the gutter!) Gathering
It's a slow morning on Leisure Day. While these sims still like to tie one on once in a while, most holidays are quieter with smaller gatherings now that many of them have settled down and started families. So realistic. Anyway, after a few chores and a good breakfast, Method stayed home with the kids while Jamie and Adriana hosted a beach party!
Not surprisingly Harold was the first to arrive and he and Jamie immediately ran off to have a private conversation while Adriana waited for the rest of their guests to arrive.
It was just a small intimate gathering of close friends. The Gibbs were there and the Jones's, Baldwins and Gale's. And of course, they didn't rent the place out so there were a fair number of townies and tourists who showed up as well.
Overall, it was a beautiful day for a beach party! Oh gosh, Adriana!!! No! No more fantasizing about Thomas!!!
Sims came and went, more sims visited the beach and left, but Jamie stayed late into the night!
Oh no! Oh Shayne! Bahahaha! First off, Happy Birthday! Secondly, that hairstyle does NOT fit your personality! But hey! At least it isn't pig tales!
That babysitter doesn't look too sure about being in the same room with Method! Poor Method! Maybe the sitter is just a technophobe or something.
The sun is rising and all the zombies are transforming back into sims...but they won't leave!
I thought at first they were stuck, but nope! They just hung around talking, the guy in the blue even started randomly doing the Smustle when one of them randomly set down a radio for a minute! What in the world!? I finally sent Jamie out to tell them to quit partying and just leave! Of course, Armando WAS there. What an icon...maybe he's the reason everyone was partying LOL!
Everyone finally cleared out and Adriana decided to take Frankie for a little walk.
Juliana had fun playing with her imaginary friend on the slide!
**Ooops! I see a part of the Baldwin's wall that I forgot to recolor when Brianna added a bedroom and play area to their attic!**
Adriana took Frankie home and what's this!? Yeeaahh...My bad...I obviously forgot to take a picture! Adriana made her first Plumbot! His name is Method and I don't normally play with bots and supernaturals, but you know what? Adriana IS in the robotics career, and Shorty DID have an alien baby in St. Bernie, so she's keeping him!
Just a normal night. Adriana with the help of Method got the kiddos all ready for bed while Jamie earned a promotion at work. This is great news! Maybe they'll actually be able to afford taxes this year! I sold off some inventory already so they can pay bills, but with both adults earning promotions and the ability to make plumbots to sell hopefully these two are finally reaching the point of financial stability...fingers crossed!
Financial stability because...yeah...Jamie and Harold are STILL harboring secret feelings for each other. No matter how many sims I try to set Harold up with, he has never entered into a relationship, but Jamie still shows no signs of wanting to break up his relationship with Adriana for him. I guess I'll just continue to let them decide what they want to do and see what happens in the end.
Oh gosh, Jamie! Who are you lecturing to in the middle of the night!? Just go home and get some sleep! LOL!
Aww...after posting the posed pictures for this day literal months ago, it is FINALLY time to share the cluster that was Cristina and Shayne's wedding! Even though it was a mess, Shayne was super excited! How cute!
Of course the second I was out of Brianna's household, she was back to hanging outside of Reggie's house...And seeing as Alyson is dating Jess's ex, I can't say this really surprises me! I do like these two better than Alyson with Reggie.
You know what they say...Rain on your wedding day is good luck. Here's hoping you two crazy kids because that rain does NOT look like it's going ANYWHERE!
Everyone is arriving! ...except the front desk attendant...making it impossible for Cristina and Shayne to actually use the wedding arch! Facepalm...I was beginning to realize the trouble with actually playing through a wedding on this particular resort lot...
OMG! So, I finally got the staff there, but now what is going on!? I mean at least you two look entertained, but Geesh!
Aww...yay they're officially married! Aaaand problem # 2 with this lot for weddings. I may have decorated it specifically for weddings, but there isn't a ton of room up here with all the many friends of these two, so getting a good picture was a struggle to say the least!
Just some random pictures from the party. As you can see pretty much no one was interested in staying in their formal wear! Aaand, I tried to get Cristina and Shayne to cut their wedding cake, but Cristina kept resetting back home! I have no idea what was going on, but this was when I was having all the problems with my computer so who knows!
Poor Shayne had to eat alone! Aaand I was about to realize problem # 3...

OMG! Bahahahaha! Look at that puddle! There are only two toilets on this level and everyone is crowding the stairwell to the only bathrooms available! OMG! Both Howard and Jaime have peed themselves! How embarrassing!
Add Dmitri to that list... Eeew Look at that landing!

I finally managed to get Shayne out the door and I'd given up on trying to teleport Cristina back to the resort again. I sure hope everyone makes it home okay, time to get those lovely newlyweds settled in!
Home at last and ready to start married life together!
Yay! A job is available! I mean, it's her ex-fiancé of about 2 seconds, but maybe that's all water under the bridge.
I'm going to be honest, Terrell didn't have a big budget and to get everything in the room he requested I had to bump out the wall so I had to use the kid themed wall mounted tv as it was the cheapest I could fit in the room LOL! Well, I guess we just have to wait to see what Terrell thinks of it!
Well...this seems like he's just being nice LOL! Oh well! We had to work with what we had, and Brianna still got paid!
Harold is remodeling now that he's alone in his house! Woot woot! Two jobs in one day!
Aww...I loved Cristina's bedroom when I'd originally decorated it, but Harold was wanting a man cave complete with bar and that was the only bedroom big enough. Anyway, this one looks quite a bit more sophisticated than Terrell's Bathroom/laundry, so it's time to see what Harold thinks!

Brianna was in a fantastic mood after that last job and bonus! Time to play with little Petunia who's been feeling neglected again...poor pup, Brianna's just been hustling to keep a roof over your heads.
It was a big day so Brianna was uncharacteristically ready for bed super early.
And with that we finish out the night with some town notifications. Two more of our kiddos have reached school age!
As you all may know by now, I tend to go back to my Redwood Harbor save when I'm supposed to be playing other rotations X) ! I can't help it! I just really feel connected to that population for some reason though I love all my little simmies! Anyway, I have all of Pleasant Isle and most of Northeney already played which I promise to get queued up as soon as I have time to organize everything.

I have also been playing in Redwood Harbor to probably no one's surprise and let me tell you this rotation has brought a LOT of change! At the end of the last rotation Shayne and Cristina got engaged so I have played through their wedding (yay I was on their household for it!), my party king Reggie has embraced fatherhood and is growing into a responsible Sim without my intervention, and Thomas is going through...something...Seriously both his career and his marriage to Corinna are in serious turmoil and I hope I can get to their household before everything implodes, but that's the beauty of story progression and free will, I just don't know. It's not up to me; it's up to them.
So with all that being said, I have had the wedding album for Cristina and Shayne sitting on my laptop for ages and since it's going to be a while before I get to posting the next rotation of Redwood Harbor I thought I would share that with you all while I get the rest of Pleasant Isle and Northeney organized on my computer!

I should have taken this as a warning...in the actual wedding there were a lot of puddles! LOL! Facepalm... Also, many of you may recall that Cristina is also super close to Edith, in fact, she was Maid of Honor at Edith and Clark's wedding...HOWEVER...Edith also has an extensive past with Shayne so that coupled with the fact that most of the wedding party were already friends of Cristina and not necessarily Shayne, I chose Brianna as the third bridesmaid :)
You guys, here we are...The last day of the playthrough until I cycle through my other saves! There is so much going on, I hate to leave off like this, but it's time to move on for a while.
The day started with Lloyd playing with toys and generally being adorable!

Back Home Mack spent some quality time with Mikey before heading (with Ginny!) to a party hosted by Harold and Cristina. Oh Harold! This is the second (or third) time you've slept entirely through a party that YOU were the host of! LOL!
Looks like Ida and Bethany are still having fun at the park! On a side note, I REALLY need to get some more toddler cc or something so I can tell all these kids apart! Practically every kid in town is running around in the same outfit and one of three hairdo's!
It's Spooky Day! Now, I know that technically, Terrell isn't single as he's dating Brianna, but I wanted to throw another Single's Mingle to find some townie dates for my uncoupled sims. I can't believe how few are not attached! Cristina, Shayne, Alyson, Jess, and Harold. Everyone else is either married, engaged or dating! As I haven't been able to add Cristina or Brianna to party guest lists since sending them on vacation I had them group up at Terrell's house before heading down to Insignia. Blaine is still unattached and good friends with Terrell from the band days so I invited him too.
Bahahaha! Looks like they're having fun!
Oh boy! It looks like these two might actually be in it for the long haul this time!
Unfortunately, because Blaine is no longer in Terrell's band, as soon as the Neptune Lounge opened, he was pulled to work, where he's the bouncer! Brianna, too, decided to leave right as I was getting ready to send the group to Insignia for the party.

Looks like everyone is getting into costume! And Terrell is thinking about Alyson again, who was the next to arrive.
Harold came, and randomly Alicia showed up to crash our party, maybe because Cristina was there. Shayne showed up for two seconds and left, none of the townies I invited showed, not even Marisela, which surprises me a little because she and Terrell have been close for years!
Oh I see how it is! She's at Marsha's house instead.
So it was a bit of a dud as far as attendance is concerned, but at least the sims who DID show up had fun!
Terrell even took a turn playing DJ!

The night ended with the birth of baby Gallo! And Terrell's party was a success to boot!
