At least the little boys were having fun! Jerrod and Krista pigged out at the hot dog eating contest and Lloyd met up with Mom, Alyson, at the karaoke bar?? I guess it DOES serve food so okay, whatever, sims take their babies and toddlers in here all the time anyway.
Maybe the girlfriends all blew them off, but Terrell was determined to have a good time.

I was afraid of this. Alyson may be a collector, but even her earnings from her collectables is nothing compared to the money Jess earns with her painting. And Alyson's photography career has definitely stagnated. I hope she figures something out because it's going to be sim years still before I get to her household!

Ugh...what a rainy, dreary Love Day! Reggie ate, took a nap and then I made him take a shower so he wasn't stinky because I had plans. Reggie has been single for a few days now, which in sim time equals a couple of months and the dating pool is dwindling so I decided to throw another singles mingle to give him a chance to flirt with a few townies and see if sparks ignite. With his love of music, he might be a good match for Marisela, Terrell's former band mate.
Aaaand the first sim to show up was Brianna...still dressed in her bridesmaid dress as formal wear! I know...their past and her ongoing obsession with him as well as his occasional want to woohooty text her is so toxic, but they are both single and spending some time with townies might be what they both need to leave that past where it belongs...in the past!
But the bridesmaid dress from Cristina and Shayne's wedding had to go so it was back to her old formal wear from her trip with Cristina in round 3! Oh the irony...that gal pal trip was to help Brianna get over Reggie after he got together with Jess...Now years later and she still isn't completely over him.
Oh yay! Reggie is talking to Marisela! And Howard actually showed! He is another sim who REALLY needs to get over a past toxic relationship. He and Jaime are still totally attracted to each other whenever they're in the same vicinity, but Jaime has made it pretty clear he doesn't intend to have an actual relationship with him. He's still engaged to Adriana which is a complete shock to me, and they now have two kids together. So much complicated drama in this town!

Of course the second I was out of Brianna's household, she was back to hanging outside of Reggie's house...And seeing as Alyson is dating Jess's ex, I can't say this really surprises me! I do like these two better than Alyson with Reggie.

With a new baby on the way, Alicia called Brianna up for one last job. A new nursery! Unfortunately, their house will require some significant reorganizing to add stairs to the current attic space. Well...we'll try our best with what funds we have left over. Also, I'm going to leave an extra bed because I'm pretty sure Berty will age into a child by the time I get to the Baldwins in the rotation.
In the end, it's not perfect by any means, but technically we DID stay within the requests and budget Alicia wanted. I sure hope she likes it, I'd hate for a bad reno to impact Alicia and Brianna's friendship!
Way to go Brianna! The job may not have netted her a huge bonus like Harold's , but it was enough to earn her a promotion!
