NGL Pokeshipping may not have been a ship that turned me off at the beginning but it was definitely a ship that got me after three rewachings and now it's one of my favorites

I didn't get along with KohaHika, I think it's the only ship I didn't get from her, much more because of Dawn's writing than Chloe's (hell Sppaming Daijobu was that one)

they both come from opposite regions. may’s from hoenn which is heat and sun. dawn is from sinnoh which is the cold and snow. when they decided they wanted to move in together they couldn’t pick a region to stay in. they thought about maybe staying in sinnoh for winter and fall and staying in hoenn for summer and spring. but it would be too much of a hassle to move every six months. they decide to live abroad for a while.

they live in kalos for five years. they get a nice medium sized apartment with a balcony in lumiose. they plant some berries and flowers out there in pots and boxes. dawn loved the fashion and may loved the food. since they’re staying there for a while dawn got a job at a boutique and may got a job at a restaurant. the money is nice and they’re thankful that their parents convinced them to buy an apartment instead of renting it since after two or three years they already own it.

they loved going to watch pokemon showcases since it reminded them of pokemon contests. they’re pleasantly surprised when after the shows some people and sometimes the performers as well come up to them to ask for pictures since they were fans of their contests (both becoming top coordinators before they retired). may was now used to people calling the princess of hoenn but dawn is still blushing when people call her the princess of sinnoh.

they thought of competing in one and while they’re certainly capable they didn’t want the off chance of winning a princess key and not use it since it’d be unfair to those who actually are competing for a key. there was a dud showcase once (where the purpose is to draw in possible pokemon performers but the key doesn’t count) and they enter it and manage to get past the theme performance but both didn’t manage to garner enough points to win the whole shabang. they laugh and get galettes and champagne as a celebration.

they don’t stay in just lumiose for the five years they’re there. they manage to visit all the cities and towns (and landmarks). they don’t go to them all at once but they take their time. they go on weekends and they save up their vacation days and sick days from work and save up coin to go and visit a city or town and get a room at hotels instead of pokemon centers (not that there’s anything wrong with pokemon centers, it’s just that they finally have the pokedollars to get themselves a nice room at a hotel).

may’s favorite is cyllage city because growing up in hoenn means always being near a beach, it’s nice to take a dip in the sea. dawn’s is snowbelle city because of nostalgia reasons as well and that lumiose doesn’t get snow sadly enough.

when they went to kalos they only brought their starter with them (blaziken and piplup) since it’d be unfair to bring the others along and just have them stay in their pokeballs. however, they both do use their pokemon when in dinner battles in lumiose. they leave their other pokemon with their families but they get them sent out when they tour the region.

may brings out glaceon and dawn brings out mamoswine when they visit the chilly city of snowbelle and the frost cavern. (mamoswine was especially useful in getting through the snowy terrain to get there). may brings out her blastoise (wartotle evolved during her johto contests) for when they surf around in cyllage, coumarine and azure bay. may uses beautifly and dawn uses togekiss when there was a sky battle boot camp of sorts in kalos canyon and they learn to sky battle.

for their first christmas and new year there their families (johanna, norman, caroline and max) travel to them and spend the holidays together. the years after it they spend it with each other. they don’t get a tree for their apartment but they get the biggest of their berry trees growing out in their balcony inside and decorate it with other berries (as substitute for ornaments).

they eventually decide to actually decorate it but with pictures (not polaroids, as pictures they save digitally and be sent to others) they’ve taken throughout the years they’ve spent. they place the picture of their younger selves in pink and orange pajamas in the lake valor pokemon center the night before the wallace cup on top of the berry tree. the picture’s in an awful quality (since it was taken by may’s pokenav) but it’s their favorite picture.

Tamaki convinces Kyoya to fake date him in order to prove to Haruhi he'd be a good boyfriend. Only one problem, Kyoya is a better boyfriend than he is and is making him look like a jerk in comparison! Pretty soon the lines between fake competition and real competition are out the window.

Hikaru, somehow along for the ride, ends up going a double date with his senpai, and Haruhi. He's not sure what's happening, or who's telling the truth, but this is beyond anything he could have imagined.
