Who is designing these overcosted cards? Five mana just to draw two cards? Again? You can just play a creature that normally costs 1U to do that. This is where I see cards with abilities that let you reduce mana cost as not really worth the trouble. They simply overcost the spell and hope people go, "okay, no problem as long as I can reduce the cost". Stop doing that, WotC. Make cards with abilities that are worth the higher cost and still have cost reduction.

Well, this is a bunch of double talk. Whoever Carmen Klomparens is needs to go back and put in some absolute statements in this thing. Is WotC actually going to ban Vivi or Cauldron, or are they not? I love how they won't consider an emergency ban when they acknowledge how format warping that deck has been. On top of making people wait another two months to see if anything will be done. And if they're really intent only on making big changes during rotation, what are they going to do in 2026 when there is no rotation?

I am slowly losing interest in whatever Jace did on the Meditation Plane. By the time Avatar arrives, there will be four sets that have nothing to do with that storyline. As a Vorthos, that kinda sucks. It makes me question whether they know where to take the story or not.

Come next year, I really hope they will alternate between in-universe sets and universes beyond sets. They really need to focus on the actual magic story more than they have been.
