Wie steht ihr zu Zensur im Fandom?

Mir geht es dabei vor allem um die unterschiedliche Behandlung von generativer KI. Viele kreative Praktiken werden akzeptiert, aber sobald jemand ChatGPT oder ähnliche Tools nutzt, wird das oft deutlich kritischer gesehen.

Sollten Fans in Fiktion und Fanart grundsätzlich frei sein, die Inhalte zu erstellen und zu konsumieren, die sie möchten, auch wenn andere diese ablehnen?

Ja.

Nein. Wenn ich es nicht mag, dann sollen es auch die anderen nicht tun dürfen.

Zur Einordnung der Begriffe: Kritische Betrachtung von KI in Fandom Spaces ist per Definition keine Zensur. Deshalb formuliere ich die Frage auf die Kernbotschaft um.

Reasons for the ship: ok in terms of cannon this ship would never happen, but if it was what would there be?

Well for starters it would in general be allowing Jaune and penny to develop a connection so that later points in the story feel more emotional.

(or hell even having this be platonic it could still be used to let penny get to know Jaune so her sacrifice actually feels meaningful but that's still contentious)

But other than that this ship could be allowed to just be wholesome, just allowing penny to have more connections alongside her friendship with ruby. Penny interacting more with the other cast members is always a plus because it lets us see dynamics that could likely and while that doesn't have to be from her dating jaune ultimately it could still be interesting to delve into.

Reasons against the ship: it wouldn't make sense, it wouldnt feel as well built as nuts and dolts unless they put in moments prior to the two dating that expands on their connection. Plus it would just add on to the feeling that Jaune gets too much attention in the show and would further make people dislike him because of it.

The ship doesn't really need to happen nor would it be gratifying to see, a more platonic route could work but other than that it's just not that worth getting into.
