Shane Hollander sensory issues my beloved.
Thought about making him wear a fitbit or something for my fic and then went. Nope. They feel weird. He would also think they feel weird.
So behold with me: Shane who hates the sensation of anything around his wrists.
Maybe it's because the skin on the inside is especially sensitive or because it's impractical to have something just slightly dangling there when you use your hands all day. Anyways. He doesnt like it.
It's easier to do when he can prepare before, when he knows when he can take it off again, so wearing a watch for an ad or at an event is ok, he can do it. But they come off as soon as possible and he will rub his wrist whenever nobody is looking.
When all his colleagues get swept up in the fitness tracker or smart watch rage, he doesnt get it. He really want to, a fitness tracker sounds great, but he hates the feeling. He tries it and has to take it off within an hour, unable to focus on anything else but the weird feeling on his wrist.
Theres only one thing that can sit snug against his wrists that he never wants to get off... Ilyas hands.
