Anyway there is a fundamental flaw in Harry Potter, and it's the fact that James going to fight Voldemort without a wand in the hopes that it could give Lily and Harry time to escape apparently did nothing to protect them while Lily's sacrifice saved Harry. James was willing to die to save them, he sacrificed himself without a second thought, and yet somehow that just didn't count? That's some patriarchal bullshit right there lol
