My take on Abaddon's true form

I'm gonna leave this here ok? okay.. more stuff below.. maybe.

I actually began his main reference all the way back before Halloween, stopped working on it, then began to work on it again this year after letting him rot a bit in my ibispaint. Don't mind the spheres, they're meant to represent the absolute brightest he can be, think about it like when you see the beetle under the sun, it's not just one color I based his facial markings off of the Australian Plague Locust, imo he IS just a giant locust. I have a TON of notes on his design and why I did certain things, a few of them are handwritten and as shown above- my handwriting isn't super legible. So if anybody wants notes and whatnot I'd be happy to post them. I have a little project in the works with him, I'm. not looking forward to continuing to render it. sighs. Anyways I heart my our big bug son, that concludes my rant.
