The Never Ending Evening (TADC AU!)
I'm thinking of creating a horror TADC au.
Horror is one of my favorite genres of writing. I love reading it and writing it.
I love jumpscares. I love dark scenes. I love the constant fear of something evil lurking behind a bend in the road.
SO!
I had a thought!
Why not put a couple of my favorite things together?
Horror and Digital Circus.
In my au (which is still being planned out):
-Caine is never seen. You can hear him in the distance, but he's never seen. He hides behind corners and watches through the walls. He always watches. -He sets things after the inhabitants of the circus. He was trying to live peacefully there before they all arrived, and he'll take his revenge on them if it's the last code in his hard drive (evil Caine in this au). -The halls are all a maze. Adventure in there and you nearly never come out. -It's dark. The sun and moon are gone. There are screens plugged in at random spots, but they flicker and fade with static, giving off little to no light at times. -There's no cheery music like there usually is. There's a constant squeal of feedback and the error page tone over and over in the distance - kind of like a drumbeat. Flashlights are hidden throughout the circus, but they're hard to find. If yours breaks, tough luck. -Random cracks appear in the floor at random times. Watch out for those. -No one knows how it happens - but terrifying shadows and figures chase after the circus cast at random points in their day (although they never consider it a day, more like a never ending evening.)
I'm still working on designs and more ideas for a plot to this AU - but I thought I would post what I have so far!
