Finally got a design for Barrons plane down, now hopefully back to doing some creature designs
"From the Heavens Above" 2954 HD-"The HG-00000 Tycho-1 Orbital Superweapon" Constructed in 2951 and sent into orbit between Havens twin moons Orion and Ophelia. The weapon was built as an answer to the war between the HavenGuard and The Eternal Sovereign. The two factions had been in a holy war for nearly 20 years with no end in sight. The war came to a head at the Sovereign city of Aether, the two sides met at Aether and engaged in near endless slaughter. Both sides losing numbers in the hundreds. After 5 weeks of battle the Emperor ordered for all HavenGuard troops to fall back and abandon their siege on the city. Unknown to the Sovereigns, the Tycho Cannon was nestled above them, waiting to smite them at a moments notice. And when the all clear was given, all that was left was a 500km crater.
THE RAPTURE PROJECT [WEAPONS BUILT FROM THE CORPSES OF GODS]
2994 HD-Shortly after the discovery of the first Nephilim corpse in the Aether ruins, the Havenguard began uncovering more Nephilim burial sites all over the globe. The remains revealed that Nephilim bones were much denser than that of normal humans, and their skin tougher than anything the Havenguard was able to produce. With this in mind, Emperor Sirrus greenlight a top secret project, one that would make sure no one could rival the Havenguard, to make sure an incident like Aether would never happen again. Project Rapture was born, combining the Nephilim remains with top Havenguard technology, they would create weapons unlike anything, anyone has ever seen. They'd be nearly indestructible, and better yet, show just how powerful the Emperor really was, after all their Gods were dead, there was no one left to repent to.
The Neophytes are a group of cultist who reside in the undercities of Haven. They believe that the Nephilim are not all dead, and they are waiting for them to return. The Neophytes think it is their sacred duty, to prepare the world for the Nephilim's return, they think of themselves as nothing more than servants to the Dead Gods. Because of these beliefs the Neophytes shun individualism, as they believe that personal identities, and personal goals will only distract people from mankind's true purpose. All members are required to wear the same robes and masks, so each member is identical to each other. The masks they wear also change the wears voice to also be identical to everyone else's. The Neophytes have risen in numbers through the kidnapping of children, that they indoctrinate and use as their crusaders. As well as preying on venerable citizens, which are abundant in the undercities.
Neophyte Crusaders and cultists are typically armed with a Howler 2997 Rotary Cannon, a Cultist Glaive and a Machete. Though the weapons they have are not nearly as powerful as the armaments on the surface, they make up for it with the use of their Power Armor, which are old modified suits of Odyssey Power Armor, that the Havenguard used before The Unification War.
After Kane was rescued by the TyrsFang Mercenary Company, Their leader, Yhorm, took Kane under his wing, teaching him how to survive and fight, to thrive as a mercenary in the undercities of Haven. As the years went on Kane went from a scared young boy, to a quiet focused teenager, becoming skilled enough that He would regularly go on missions with Yhorm and the rest of the TyrsFang group. During his free time Kane would scout out Neophyte compounds in search of Raleigh and the other children. In his early twenties Kane took his leave from the TyrsFang company with Yhorms approval, who over the years had begun to view Kane as a son. Kane, now working as a Freelance Merc, took to the surface of Haven, when there He was taken aback by the stark difference between the undercities and the surface, the undercities being glorified factories, and miles of industry, and the gleaming sparkling capital cities on the surface. On the surface Kane took odd jobs like being a hitman, to just a petty thief, freelance work took him all over Haven from Elyisum to Port Haven, here Kane also learned about the Exclusion Zone, and the Leviathan threat. During his travels Kane ended up in Port Haven, where he took a job to take out a gang leader, it was here where he would run into the gang leader bodyguard, a hired gun named Atra, this would be the first of many times the two would skirmish with eachother. When he was twenty-six, Kane would take a job to sneak onto a HavenGuard transport train, and steal documentation of a prototype weapon the HavenGuard was building, Kane was underprepared for the security the HavenGuard had, and has found and cornered in one of the cars. In this car was a plethora of prototype weapons being transferred, one of which was a suit of armor called the A.E.G.I.S Suit, seeing no other way out Kane stole the suit, and used it to escape HavenGuard capture. Kane would come to discover that the suit had secrets of its own.
