I know today isn’t Monday, but it sure as hell feels like one. I had an appointment with my surgeon to see if maybe my hip was ready to be replaced. It has been absolutely killing me and it has been nearly impossible to do anything. 8/10 pain everyday should not be so normal to me that I don’t cry at it anymore. But he said no again. The X-ray looks the same as last year so no pain relief for me. He’s willing to get an MRI scheduled, and he’s offered to get a second opinion to see if maybe this other person sees something he doesn’t. I’m so tired of living in pain. It’s exhausting as hell. I’ve been trying to work on schoolwork the rest of the day, but my pain is so bad I can’t focus at all. Nevertheless, there are still good things that I can look at. First of all, i posted a very emotional but special video on my channel this morning! It talks about @thomassanders watching my reaction video, @danielhowell #havethecouragetoexist campaign, and opening the shirt I finally got in the mail. Many tears were involved, and I’m so happy that it’s here. My #unconditionalselflovechallenge is still happening. My one thing today is that I’m resilient. I keep fighting this disease every single day even though I often want to give up. I’m going to tag @noemi__cosplay @oresamawesome and @sydneylhuot to take the challenge! I finally got Dan’s quote flag in the mail today and I couldn’t be prouder of him. He has encouraged not just myself but and entire community to be themselves and find their own truth in this negative atmosphere. Although mental health has increased in awareness their is still work to be done to ultimately end the stigma of mental illnesses and health.
