this is one of those things that wont truly happen because the echo is just a convenient plot device at best forgotten about when not useful & only acknowledged in as far as it explains the flashback that coincidentally explains exactly what we need to see in that specific scene. and also bc it involves the wol & they generally never dig too deep into things abt the wol for the sake of not disturbing their blank-slate-ness. but exploring the dynamics of the echo as an invasion of privacy (that goes both way i.e. affecting both the person being depicted & the wol who cant choose what they are forced to see) & the weirdness of that specifically in like the interpersonal. the way it would affect the nature of relationships. well i would like to see it

Yes, Anon. We share your frustration. But there is no logic in what OQ shippers want, seeing that according to them Hood’s choice comes down to the one he so ‘deeply twuly loves’ (Regina, after one lecherous drool over her shapely behind, and the whole two or three times they’ve seen each other—in between which he lost her heart, but hey, his was in a good place so it doesn’t affect his in/competency?) and the other he only ‘feels obligation for’ (for whom he has been tortured almost to death by the darkest sorcerer in all of the lands) because, you know—when your loved one dies, as does your love for them?

So, logic? What logic?

Therefore Regina does have a choice. To be ludicrously dumb and do something so OOC that is in direct clash with her forty-something (give or take ten) years of existence, by suddenly becoming incredibly naively trustful (to the point of literally giving him her heart, which was a metaphor so bluntly banal it made me want to weep for Regina I knew and loved) towards utter and complete stranger? Or yes, one of the (spoiler-based) scenarios, she could choose to throw three years of character development (and a struggle uphill on that rocky road of redemption) right out of the window, by ‘possibly’ becoming ‘evil’ again. All for losing a guy she’s known for five days, and just because he’s been ‘promised’ to her by magic (and not all magic has a price, just like fairydust never lies?) he’s worth another self-absorbed (this time petulant, too) “veeeengeaaaaaance!” spree?

Nuh-uh. Regina Mills does not deserve that. We, as her fans do not deserve that. So they can take all that fairydust and shove it up his… English channel. Before sending him on his merry way with his family and his merry men, of course. Tights or not.

PS. Dripping sarcasm aside, if anyone still hasn’t read our somewhat more serious (philosophical as well as psychological, oh my) approach to misconceptions and realities of Regina’s choice, we wrote it during 3a/3b hiatus. After we’ve had like, just the pixiedust imposed crapisode and nothing more? And after seeing the rest of the ‘tragic love story’ that they have ‘developed’ for us in 3b… well, we’ve had nothing else to add to it. Go figure.

This is probably a way-too-innocent question, but should we take solace in the fact that Sean Maguire hasn't been announced as a regular cast member for OUAT?

And this is probably a way-too-predictable answer (but let’s face it, you were expecting it? ;) but — remember what happened to those previously announced as regulars? Ruby got ditched for AnE’s Neverland preteen wet-dream, Neal got pushed under the bus (almost quite literally) because that particular love triangle didn’t produce that much revenue, and well — do we even need to mention what Belle was reduced to? So I wish Maguire had the same fate, instead well -- them being oh-so clever about ‘hiding’ his future storyline (you know, I still laugh out loud when I use that word in relation to his character, so — lol :) and not announcing him as regular godforbid meaning that he is Regina’s endgame?

Not that it matters anyway, as (just like you? :) I’m probably rather going to harpoon self with a blunt toothbrush than watch Regina being further degraded in this insipid love triangle ‘storyline’.

OQ is just a new level of horribleness in this show. I don't know if it's the actor or both him and his character. I mean, what did he do so far? He lost Regina's heart in 2 and a half seconds, Granny and Snow can work bow and arrow better than him, every time they were confronting the WW he just stood behind someone with his bow making a grumpy cat face.. How on earth does someone write such an useless and annoying character, and worst of all, make him a LI of the best character in the show?

So what else is there to add, apart from… we dare anyone out there who finds some sense and logic in it - to give us a single reason this Robin Hood is worth even being in the general vicinity of Regina Mills. A single proof of him having ANY any other purpose than simply being this bland, random, male (cue squashing of those other ‘ideas’) love interest for the female antagonist. And for what? To ‘validate’ her redemption (as well as mere existence) and ‘reward’ her with a happy ending? Scoff.
