It hurts me so much to think that this is Gabriel beating up his son. And Gabriel knows that he’s beating up “children” (teenagers) but he doesn’t care, he just wants the miraculous to bring his wife back. And I get that he loves her but I don’t think she would’ve wanted all of this. Plus, when the reveal happens and they know that Gabriel is hawkmoth I don’t think Adrien is gonna care a whole lot that his father tortured a kwami, terrorized hundreds of Parisians, akumatized his friends, hurts his friends, hurt the love of his life, and hurt him both physically and emotionally all for the sake of getting the miraculous to bring his mom back. I think when it comes down to it Adrien might be more upset and mad at his father than understand why he’s doing this stuff. Now that they’ve actually fought in person (hawkmoth vs ladybug and chat noir) my heart hurts even more for my baby boy because he still loves his father even tho he just beat his and his lady’s ass
