Another day, another quiet wedding in Kingfisher Grove! Leon and Ginger held their own wedding ceremony at sunset, inviting even fewer people than Felicity and Philip. Fewer guests meant less money, after all, and the newlyweds were keen to make their fortunes as soon as possible!
You have to spend money to make money, and one of Ginger’s first steps on her journey to future greatness was to open her own art studio. In addition to providing a place for her to work and display her own art, Ginger decided it would be a frightfully good idea to allow the other residents of Kingfisher Grove the opportunity to do their own artwork here... For a price, of course.
The pair spent many hours enjoying each others’... ah, company. Interspersed with painting, Ginger and Leon soon fell in love with each other. I just hope no-one else sits on that sofa any time soon.
Household 3: Hawthorne
By far the most extravagant looking of all the houses so far, the third house was occupied by Ginger Hawthorne, an accomplished yet burnt-out artist searching for her new muse out in Kingfisher Grove (you may recognise her from Felicity and Philip’s wedding). A frugal sim, she shuns most technology, settling instead for the simple (cheaper) pleasures of painting and pottery. She has reservations about one day having children - financially speaking, they were a drain, and tended to get her paint absolutely everywhere - but she thoroughly enjoyed a good party, and could sleep through just about anything. She longed to make her fortune as a well renowned artist and hoped that making a name for herself in Kingfisher Grove could be the start of that journey.
Leon moved into Ginger’s house, adding a few touches of his own here and there - a plaque denoting his own artistic accomplishments, for example.
Hawthorne round 1 summary:

It wasn’t long before she set her sights on another artist in the area, Leon Hurley. A brash and hot-headed man, it had taken him a while to warm to Ginger’s charm - but, charming she was, and he couldn’t deny his attraction to her for long.
