Hello again! If I further developed a Killer!Michael-esque AU (and perhaps even decided to write a fic for it), would that be something you'd want to be credited or tagged in? Just reviewing some of the thoughtful AU excerpts you've written amongst other creators has inspired me, and the response to the prompt given last night was a delight to read! I have ideas, (perhaps somewhat gory ones), but I wouldn't bother you if random, unsolicited ideas are a no go!

do you have any suggestions for good pregame fics and stuff? i'm uh. not generally a fan of a lot of pregame stuff, it can really creep me out sometimes, but i do really like the idea itself and i want to see interesting takes on it!

Ah sorry I left this so long anon!I don’t read a lot of pregame myself, I’m very picky on the way it’s presented, even if I really do like it as a concept. I’m a sucker for dystopian premises and dark world building. However I usually find myself looking for longer fics with these aspects in vr au post-games.But I can give you three shorter fics I’ve read and enjoyed.cast list - callback auditions by seraf is an excellent pregame fic from tsumugi’s POV which tackles some characters you don’t often see in pregame, and some you do, as well as some twists on how certain traits in-game come to be. Before the curtain rises by HazyDayzz is one of the few pregame saiou fics I liked. It’s Kokichi’s POV and it’s shorter, a companion to a post-game fic, but I like the take on the characters in it.But I Kiss You Like A Lover by ktfics is short, and only a small portion of it is pregame, but it’s saioumota and lovely, and it goes over so many dynamics I enjoy.Good luck out there anon! Honestly, I have some pregame ideas on my to write list, so maybe I’ll bang one out one day haaa.

It's nice to see more of your thoughts on the Afton family, AUs, and the franchise in general! Honestly, I'm feeling more than a little bashful right now. I'm struggling to find words right now, but danke schoen! Really though, 99.99999% credit for the AUs goes to @lonelyfreddles and their beautiful angst-loving brain. The only AU I actually created was Accomplice Mike, and even that was heavily inspired by existing AUs and expanded upon beautifully by lonelyfreddles and @catwithacupofcoffee. If you're enjoying Lonely Children, Dire Consequences, and Scooped Sitcom, I recommend showing them some love!

And honestly, if writing fanfic is something you think you'd enjoy doing, I say go for it! I'm not gonna lie, I don't consider my self particularly intelligent. Ever After is the first fic that I've taken the time to do an outline or multiple drafts for, but at the end of the day I'm just writing the story I want to read. If you have a story in your head (or even just a scene), and you really enjoy thinking about it, you may be happy to have it written out somewhere you can reread it later. You don't have to publish anything you write, and it doesn't even have to be a full fic. I can't tell you how many unpublished fics I have in my docs folder. I really love writing, I think it's so much fun. If you think you'd enjoy it too, I think you should give it a go.
