Chronologically, this is not the first conversation, but for long and boring technical reasons, it is the first conversation I've finished so far for Hatboy LE! OT players will note the cameras, animations and some lines are a little different... And oh, isn't it so nice to post a video where my boy has teeth! Hatboy Legendary Edition is built on the Community Patch & Framework files... So, no matter what outfits and crazy stuff you use for Joker, it'll work right out of the box. Even if you don't use texture mods, he won't have the gross black teeth bug that shipped with vanilla. Absolutely not still mad about a 10 year old bug, why do you ask?

This conversation was short enough that I could use existing unused audio to fill in with my lines and get it functional right away. Never fear, though... I'm working on the rest of it!

In vanilla, Joker makes some mildly uncomfortable remarks, prompting EDI to decide to continue their discussion in the hallway. I reframed this conversation as happening right there, as I found EDI blithely ignorant about how talking about Joker in front of him is rude to be funny. Shepard's response as to whether or not they'll answer EDI's questions is an autoresponse dictated by Paragon or Renegade points in vanilla; I gave the choice back to the player. (Important, considering certain content depends on Shepard being friendly with EDI!)

This is an example of some additional stuff being added to conversations. It's mostly flourishes, but fun. I had no idea how to hook in Jeff's responses back then and didn't have an EDI synth yet, either so I enjoyed getting this working.
