HAPPY BIRTHDAY to @peachyjude - have a short lil hudcon snippet bc it's your special day.
Not particularly explicit, just very ~blurry re: tattoos & sex scenes
On camera, the makeup they used to cover their tattoos was very effective. Up close, though, the location of Hudson’s ’sex sells’ tattoo was noticeable.
And Connor was definitely up close. He was lying between Hudson’s legs, about to fake giving him a blowjob. Hudson had let his legs fall to the mattress when they’d yelled cut, his entire body relaxing. Connor had dropped his head to the mattress between his thighs.
Connor’s thumb slid lightly along the edge of the makeup, and Hudson’s leg twitched. He lifted his head to glance down at Connor, who pulled his hand back. Hudson shook his head, smiling.
“It’s okay, baby,” he said, casually.
It had been a year, but seeing his own tattoo still made Connor’s stomach do a weird flip. Hudson’s drove him crazy. At first it had been especially heady, the link between them, the knowledge that they were permanently marked externally as well as whatever had happened inside of him over the course of filming.
And then it had been grounding, once everything blew up. It had been such a relief to Connor through the insanity that had overtaken his life, to remind himself that he had Hudson. He could curl his knees to his chest and stroke his tattoo with his thumb and wonder if Hudson could feel it. Sometimes, when fabric brushed his thigh, he pretended it was the feeling of Hudson touching his own tattoo.
“Wonder how long the makeup will last there,” Hudson said. “It’s gonna get a lot more friction than the others.”
Connor grinned. “It will.” Connor’s finger was still running over the makeup, probably not helping, but he couldn’t stop.
Hudson shifted slightly. “Connie…” he murmured, a slight warning in his voice.
Connor grinned up at him sheepishly as he moved his hand away. “Sorry,” he mouthed.
But Hudson smiled down at him warmly as he adjusted his cock sock. God, he was so fucking hot.
“Okay, guys, still awake?” Jacob called.
Connor pulled himself up again, scooting down the bed. “Yep,” he said, as Hudson planted his feet on the mattress.
“Let’s go,” Hudson said, winking up at Connor.
Fuck.
“Action.”
Connor leaned down again, sliding his hands up Hudson’s legs like they’d rehearsed, aware of the blocking and where he needed to be for the camera angles to work as he crawled up the bed.
But this time, he dropped a light kiss against Hudson’s tattoo as he moved up, and if Hudson’s shiver was particularly realistic, well… it was good for the scene.
HermitADayMay! This year we're cribbing from and hacking up the worldbuilding of the video game Against the Storm, so let's start on day 2 with Welsknight, given Zed has a few too many secrets to hold...
Once again these ficlets will be all over the place, but this one is actually pretty early into the part of the tale I care about (and unlike this time, I PROMISE I already know what the ending is xD)
The host account, @hermitadaymay , is also hosting various charity fundraisers. If this is of interest to you, please go check them out!
With as few resources as they have left, guarding the storehouse becomes ever more important. False might manage it, but it is Wels who stands at the doors, making sure that nothing and nobody enters without reason.
It is the middle of the night, deep into Storm. He has the collar of his coat turned upwards, and his rain-shell huddled around him. Still he can feel the cold horror of the rain settling against the waxed fabric, and knows he will have to be very careful to avoid getting the contaminated water on his skin.
As cold and dark as it is, he nearly misses the figure skulking closer. In a flash of lightning he spots her, however, and quickly brandishes both sword and lantern outwards.
"Who is it?" he calls into the night, even as the figure ducks back into the dark.
A moment, and then the figure sags, and steps into the light.
Wels is both relieved and suspicious to see the familiar figure of Gemini, one of their scouts. The fox woman hovers at the edge of the circle of light, and raises one clawed hand.
"Hey Wels..." she drags the words out, making it clear that she /was/ trying to avoid him.
"What did you need, and who did you clear it with?" he asks, eyebrow raised if hidden behind the layers of rainproofing he wears.
Gem, adequately protected by both species and fur, flicks her tail. "Can I grab something?"
She already knows the answer to that; Wels just does his best disappointed look impression.
"It's important!" her voice gets a little higher pitched as she raises her hands. "Super important! All our fuel gets lost if I'm late important, and Joe is gone so I can't ask him, and False is asleep, but I'm sure Pearl would agree with me!"
"And did she?"
"She's busy burning the blightrot from the kilm, and I am not getting that close to the flowers."
Wels weighs up his options; Gem is not really known to lie, but she is known to cause mischief. She and Grian, let alone if Scar involves himself... Still, they do not usually go for misuse of resources, not unless they have a truly obnoxious amount of them.
"What is it then?" he asks. "If it's important, I'll help, but if you're just messing with Impulse again..."
"No, nothing like that!" she waves her hand. "So, um, out in the forest, where the woodsmen are working? I found this... Have you ever seen a Wildfire?"
"No...?"
"With the giant skull and the trail of fire?" she presses.
"The only wildfire I know is the bottled stuff we use to light new hearths," he replies.
Gem snaps her fingers, and points at him. "Which! Is exactly what I need!"
Wels stops, and blinks at her. The bottled essences have limited uses, for sure, but they are also incredibly limited and precious; the viceroy had stolen most of theirs when he fled the settlement, looking for an easy buck. There are only two left, and to lose all of them...
"What for?" he finally manages to ask.
"There's an adult one, a wild one, out in the woods, coming closer," she tells him, voice dropping finally to a more serious tone. "Screaming. I'm... You know how foxes are connected to the forest, right? More than you human folk?"
He nods; few people are as connected as the foxes. Generations surviving without the Queen's protection has left them few in number, but the survivors deeply intwinned with the rain and the woods. The blight still touches them, just as it touches all things, but it kills slower, and in different ways.
"Right, so... Look, this wildfire is screaming, and I'm pretty sure it's calling for it's children. The forest was unhappy, and I was thinking, you know the little specks when the bottles are used?"
"Yes...?"
Well, no, but Wels had missed the first lighting ceremony simply due to failing to wake up in time.
"I'm pretty sure the bottles have baby wildfires in. If we give the one in the forest some children... They're probably not /its/ children, but I'm hoping we can just... give it them, instead of having to either fight it off, or using resources we need?"
Wels looks at her. He closes his eyes, counts to five, and tries to logic this out. Waiting to ask False would be better, but a monster in the woods - especially one coming close? There might not be time. He does have the authority to spend resources on that. Gem does not lie, not about important things - only to cover up her games. And that would be a flat out denial, not... Not this.
"Where is it?" he asks.
"Just past the woodmen's huts. You can't really miss it; it is on fire."
It does not really need two of them to go. The storehouse must be watched, but Wels cannot really authorise using all they have of something so precious without confirmation...
"Someone should still be up at the ranch," Wels tells her. "It's not so late; tell one of them to come here and watch the stores. I'll find the essence, then we'll go together."
He can see how Gem nearly refuses, only to think better of it. She nods, a little grim, and hurries off.
And Wels turns to the storehouse, and tries to remember where on earth the essances are...
---
Soon enough, Gem returns with Beef in tow. He does not really get an explanation, just told it is an emergancy, before Gem is leading Wels into the depths of the forest.
To the far edge of town, just as she said, and then to the woodmen's huts - only used in the day, to store things.
Just as she said, Wels can see a light there.
"Well, that might be a bit of a problem," he agrees.
"Yeah, maybe a little." Gem's voice squeaks just a tiny bit, an indicator of her own nerves.
She is... young, to be on one of these expeditions - let alone one as deep into the woods as this, or as dangerous. Wels has been on plenty, though none that have gone as disasterously as this one. Still, he is the senior, and he knows what to do. With one hand he squeezes her shoulder, and with the other he slips her the essence.
"We get close, then release at the same time," he tells her.
"Hopefully it accepts them," Gem worries her lip, now doubting the plan she had made. "We just... Unscrew the lid, right?"
"Counter clockwise," he agrees, and she nods. "I'll go first."
His rainshell is bulky, but as resistant to fire as it is rain.
Gem's fur and dungarees... Not so much.
With heavy feet, careful to make himself the bigger target, Wels pushes his way into the forest. Gem follows behind and to one side, with much more gentle feet. He keeps his eyes on the enemy and his ally in his peripheral, unsure if to be thrilled or terrified that for once this sort of encounter might end without a fight.
It is as he steps into a small glade - not natural, scorched out by the Wildfire's rapid movement - the creature's attention snaps to him. The skull is not human in shape, but it is still unsettling as small bursts of fire flicker through the holes. It opens its mouth, screaming, and a burst of fire comes with it.
One pointed at the sky; a warning, not an attack.
"Easy," he tells it, pretending it is his dog, safe at home with his mother while he quests. "We're not here to hurt you."
A flaming skull cannot look doubtful, and yet somehow this one does.
Wasting no more time, Wels pulls the bottle from under his coat. He can hear rustling as Gem does the same, though the little bottle of fire keeps the creature's attention on him.
With swift movements Wels unlocks the bottle, tilting it just slightly so that the contents might escape.
Gem, next to him, does the same.
Two little sparks, little spots of darkness surrounded by fire, escape the bottles. The screech in turn, and the Wildfire's attention does to them. The crackles of its fire settle, turn more comforting, more like a hearth than an inferno. Those little sparks go to it, one on each side, and something about the forest seems calmer.
The Wildfire - the largest one - looks at them both. It flickers slightly, and then turns, and flees deeper into the forest, little ones at its side.
The glade it has left is scorched and burnt, death and ash surrounded by rotting trees.
Except the ash... Wels kneels down, and runs his fingers through it...
"Wels?" Gem asks, her voice the sort of confident that inevitably means she is feeling shaky. "We should head back. It calmed the forest a bit, but you know it doesn't like you being this far out. Only us foxes."
"It's fine," he tells her, feeling the oppressive darkness of the forest break across his body. "Look - the land the wildfire burnt? It's fertile. We could grow things here. The ash is absorbing the toxins."
"Huh."
Gem is quiet and only moderately interested; Wels hops back to his feet, and turns back towards home.
"We'll let Beef know," she eventually agrees. "He can decide."
Wels nods in agreement.
"And I've a shift to finish. You off for the night?"
Gem laughs, "I wasn't even on! I was just setting up a prank for when Skizz goes out tomorrow, and noticed it. I'm not allowed night shifts at the moment."
Wels looks at the sky, an instinct deeply bred for it has been generations since anyone saw the sun or the moon.
"I'll write the report, then. You can just add your stuff over breakfast, then give it in."
"Aren't you supposed to be on duty?"
"Do you know how boring guard duty is?!" Wels gestures with his lantern, lights flickering all over. "Everyone knows not to steal, because there's nothing worth stealing left! I'm just there, stood in the rain, for hours, with nothing to do."
With a giggle, Gem elbows him, "except when I show up."
"Trouble, you are," he agrees. "Always trouble with you lot."
"And you love us anyway."
Wels shakes his head in exasperation; she knows he means yes anyway.

(//okie just to recap, what kind of precautions do you think albedo would take against rubedo? /gen im kind of curious to see how this turns out ngl!) ~Lycoris
Making a very short hc drabble abt this because I can-
Albedo with an S/O who's being stalked by Rubedo
Alright so first and foremost.. Albedo would probably be very concerned when he hears S/O's worries about his 'brother.'
Would probably try and find Rubedo and question him about it
Comforts S/O whenever he can about the matter 🥰
Tells them not to worry because the mighty Chalk Prince is here 💪💪
Would also most likely be right on top of it with guarding you from anything and everything. Like if he feels the presence of Rubedo or something he'd probably check it out.
Probably really stressed on S/Os behalf as well hehe- but /srs no joke, he's quite worried about you. He knows how potentially manipulative and hurtful his brother can be and doesn't wanna have S/O go through that.
Expect protective hugs and cuddles from our favorite blondie as well!!
☁️There was gossip going around that some villains had been hanging out at the club you worked at. It wasn't a big deal till the club owner was introducing number two hero Hawks to you.
☁️He explained to you that the villains had a large public presence and needed to be contained qiutley. The villains happened to be some of your regulars. So Hawks came up with a plan. You would invite them into a back room and he and some of his sidekicks would follow behind and arrest them.
☁️Hawks could see that you were a little frightened. He crouched down in front of where you were sitting and gently took one of your hands in his. “I’ll be right behind you the whole time. I won't let them put a finger on you Y/n. I promise.”
☁️The evening of the arrest. Hawks visited you before the club opened. Making sure you were doing alright and you remembered the plan.
☁️Later that night you approached the villains after a show. Offering to give them a ‘tour of the back rooms’. You were very captivating with your transparent lingerie and demeanor. The villains were more than willing to oblige.
☁️As you led them to the back rooms you felt little feathers brush up against your fingers. Reminding you that you were safe and Hawks were right behind you.
☁️They followed you into the room one by one. Only a minute had passed before Hawks and his sidekicks came in behind them. One of the villains went to grab at you in an attempt to take a hostage. But Hawks was to fast for him. Grabbing you by the shoulders and leading you out the room while his sidekicks took care of the villains.
☁️“Are you okay?” He asked, concerned. A feather from his wings flying off down the hallway. “Yes, I'm fine. Thank you.” As you say this his feather comes flying back carrying your robe from the changing room. Hawks takes the robe and drapes it around you. “Of course, I'm a hero! It's my job to keep people safe. Are you sure you're okay? You look a little spooked.” Hawks looked at you concerned. “I'm kinda freaked out but I'll be okay. I appreciate the concern.” Hawks give you a sweet smile and walked you to the dressing room. He thanked you for the help, talked to the owner of the club and made sure you get a couple days off. And left with his sidekicks and the villains.
☁️You gladly took those days off. When you got back to work there were some flowers there waiting for you.
☁️ -Just wanted to thank you again for your help. I didn't think it was fair that we put you through all that trouble and the commission didn’t give you a reward. So I thought I'd take up the task. ;) - Love your favorite Pro hero -
☁️Was written on a card attached to a visa next to your flowers.
☁️One of the other stripers came up behind you
☁️“Hay Y/n?”
☁️“Ya?”
☁️“Did you get sent flowers and a one-thousond dollar visa from fucking Hawks.”
☁️“I think so? Can you pay rent with a visa?”
☁️“I think you can!”
☁️Rent? Paid 😌✨
☁️Flowers? Dead in two week but the gesture is still appreciated 😌✨
☁️A couple months later you turn on the news to find one of the villains you helped get arrested had somehow broken out of prison. You feel your stomach chern. Worried about going to work. But you knew the club’s owner didn't give a shit and you need the money.
☁️Getting ready in the dressing room. There's a loud knock at the door. Everyone turns around to see hawks standing outside the doorway. With his face looking down and eyes glancing at you. Everyone immediately turns and looks at you smiling. You rolled your eyes at them. After he sent you those flowers and visa everyone was gossiping about Hawks being your sugar daddy.
☁️“Hawks?” Hawks look up. He flashes a smile before his expression worsens. “Hay Y/n, I'm guessing you heard about the villain already. When I got the news the first person I thought about was you and I got worried. He might come back here, but I don’t know. Is it okay if I stay and scope out the place for a couple nights. Just to make sure you're safe.”. “Ya, of course. I was actually kinda nervous to come into work. But now I feel a lot better!” You smiled at him. “I'm glad. You know, we really gotta stop meeting like this.” He winked at you. You laughed.
☁️The past two nights were the same. You would do your shows, count your money, go home. Hawks would walk you to your car every night. It was nice, he made you feel safe. You told him that, instead of saying “that's what heroes do.” He took it to heart. “It makes me really happy to know that.” He smiles at you.
☁️The next day he wasn't there. You were jumpy the whole night. Wondering ware Hawks was. If they found the villain all ready. Or if Hawks just got bored waiting around and went to look for the villain himself.
☁️He was back the day after. “I’m sorry. I had some other villain business I really needed to take care of. I had three of my side kicks here last night though. You know I’d never leave you hanging!”
☁️The seventh day, nothing interesting was happening. It was crowded and sweaty like every other night. Hawks was sitting in between the front door and the way to the dressing room like he always did, Then.
☁️A gunshot went off. The bang pierced through the music. A bullet ricocheted off your pole. You let out a yelp as you slammed to the floor. You stayed down on the floor covering your face. People started to panic, moving out of the way and rushing out the door. Hawks flew over to you as fast as he could. Holding you close to his chest and wrapping his wings around you. He sent some large feathers flying through the club. He quickly found the villain. His feathers sliced his hand disarming him and pinning him to the ground. Hawks sidekick ran to restrain the villain. Hawks picks you up and brings you to the back away from the comoshin.
☁️He frantically checked your body for any injuries or blood. ‘Are you okay?! Are you hurt?!”. There was no blood, no injuries. But you were shaking with tears rolling down your face. You just got shot at, of course you're terrified. Hawks takes a deep breath.“ Its okay. I’ve got you, you're going to be okay. I’m not going to let anything bad happen to you.” He holds you close and rubs your arms trying to comfort you. You can't help but wrap your arms around him, needing comfort. Then you felt them. The little feathers that tickled your hand when you first got nervous around those villains. You were able to catch your breath and come down. But you were most definitely not okay. That was such a close call you could have died.
☁️Once you stopped crying Hawks wrapped your robe around you. “Y/n, Are you okay?” He asked you quietly. “You know, we really gotta stop meeting like this. Next time you ask a favor of me it better be to get coffee! Because I'm never helping you with anything else ever again.” You laughed. Hawks laughs “Understandable, I might just do that!” He feels absolutely terrible. He will never not think about what happened that night.
☁️Ya’ll went for coffee and actually hit it off
☁️You’ll start going on coffee runs together whenever you can
☁️Watch so happens to be three in the morning
☁️You’ll be the only two in the shop sitting in a corner. Talking about work.
☁️Hawks loves to hear the gossip that goes around the club.
☁️And you love to hear the hero gossip.
☁️It was a cute little twenty-four hour coffee shop. With low warm lights. And little plants and flowers everywhere. The air smells like a mix of vanilla coffee and oranges. It was really sweet and peaceful.
☁️You and Hawks started becoming really good friends.
☁️But once winter came, something in Hawks changed.
☁️The air was cold. The ground outside was frosted over as little white flurys fell from the sky. You sat in front of a frosted window that was decorated in Periwinkle and baby’s breath. Behind the frosted window were gold holiday lights that glowed brightly.
☁️Your hair was fluffy from the shower you took before leaving work. Your eyes sparkled the reflection of holiday lights from around the shop. You were in a cozy sweater holding your coffee up to your mouth with both hands wrapped around it. Your lips blowing on it gently. Your cheeks were blushed from the cold weather outside.
☁️He wanted to kiss you so bad.
☁️But he couldn’t, so he just sat there and listened to you talk. Like he always does.
☁️After a long while. You paid for your coffees and left.
☁️You two stopped at an empty crosswalk. Even though there wasn't a single person around in that sleepy city, you still waited. Taking it slow and enjoying your time together.
☁️You breathed in the cool crisp air. Looking over at Hawks. He looked tired, but happy. The holiday and street lights behind him blurred as you focused on only him. Snow flurries caught in his hair and eyelashes. His eyes glowed gold against the streetlights. He wore a brown jacket lined with white fur and a dusty red henley sweater. Warm air escaped his soft lips in a white cloud. And his cheeks and nose were pink from the cold weather.
☁️You wanted to kiss him so bad.
☁️“Hey,” You said.
☁️“Ya?’ He asked in return.
☁️You step in front of him. Bringing your face to his. He didn't back away. So you held his face. His lips parted slightly and he took a deep breath in. And you kissed him.
☁️It felt so gentle and natural. His arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you close to him.
☁️He almost said ‘I love you’ because he really does. You've captivated every bit of his mind and heart.
☁️When you two start dating he's so excited and supportive.
☁️He doesn't come to the club. Not after what he put you through there.
☁️But he doesn't need to go to the club, he can have all the private shows and more back at home 😌
☁️He really likes your classy lingerie, he thinks it makes you look like royalty.
☁️Insets on massaging your sore muscles even tho his are just as sore
☁️Kisses your bruises
☁️Work related?
☁️Kiss
☁️Keigo related?
☁️Kiss
☁️“Is this one from work or me???”
☁️“Work”
☁️“Oh” 🥺
☁️Kiss
☁️“This one from work?”
☁️“No that’s from you”
☁️“Oh shit, sorry love” 😳
☁️Two kisses
☁️He’s very supportive of you. Sex work is just as valid and inportent as anyother job.
☁️I don’t know why but he's very good at sewing so he helps sew up any outfits you accidently ripped.
☁️He thinks you're so talented in everything you do.
☁️You have some muscles that he doesn't even have and he thinks it amazing.
☁️He’ll marvel at you all day if he could.
☁️You're beautiful and sexy and strong. And he's always going to be undoubtedly, blissfully, in love with you.
New headcanon: while staying at a motel room while on the run, Scully finds a cat stuck. She frees him and brings him back to her room. From there, Mulder and Scully care for the cat, name him, but on the day they leave, they have no option but to hand him into reception.
Sorry for any bad formatting. I wrote this on my phone and posted it using the app.

The Motel Cat
Scully's unloading the laundry into the washing machine when she hears it; a meow. At first she's unsure she even heard anything, continues on with her task, but then she hears it again, then once more.
It takes pulling on one of the machines to find it; a cat. Kitten really, or just older, stuck behind the machine. It looks up towards Scully and let's out another meow.
"What are you doing down there?" She asks, reaching down to grab the kitten. Surprisingly, it goes into her hands willingly and Scully places it on one of the machines.
While Scully would say she was a dog person more than a cat person, there was just something about this creature, from its ginger fur, to its various scrapes and bruises. This cat had been through something and as insane as it sounded, Scully couldn't help but see herself mirrored in this cat.
"Are you lost to?" She asks. She strokes the cat's head and it meows again.
"You hungry?" They had some food back in the room. The cat meows once more. "Come on then." Grabbing the laundry basket of freshly dried clothes, the cat hops inside, cosying up to the warm clothes.
"I was beginning to worry," says Mulder upon her entrance. He always worried now if she was over time, it was beginning to be a tiny bit suffocating.
"I know, I'm sorry," Scully apologises. She presents the basket towards Mulder. "But look who I found." Mulder peeps into the basket and his eyes widen.
"A cat?" He looks at her bemused. "Thought you counted yourself more as a dog person, Scully."
She places the basket down on the table. "I do," she answers. "But he was stuck behind one of the washing machines, I think he's hungry."
Mulder wanders over to the fridge. "Think we've got some fish left over." He takes the food out of the fridge as Scully picks the cat out of the basket and places him on the table.
Mulder walks back over and places the fish down. The cat takes a whiff and after a quick inspection begins to dig in.
Scully smiles. "I think he likes it," she says watching.
Mulder nods. "I think he does. I'll get him some water to go with it." Mulder busies himself with the water while Scully marvels at the cat. It's been a while since she's had a small thing to care for. Queequeg, Emily, her baby, all lost to her forever. She bats those thoughts away though and preoccupies herself with petting the cat as Mulder returns with a bowl of water. He sits down in the opposite seat watching as the cat has the best meal of his life.
"Wonder who he belongs to," he says.
"I don't know, he doesn't have a collar." She sits back in her chair. "We should give him a name."
"A name, eh?" Asks Mulder. He looks at the cat and thinks for a moment.
"Toby," he finally says.
Scully smiles again. "Toby," she repeats. "I like it."
For the rest of their stay, Toby lives with them, becomes their furry companion. They can't take him with them, however, as his owner had yet to be identified. They drop him off at the reception, though with a note to say where he was found. Scully feels sad when it's time to let them go, he was a joyful distraction to play with, to feed.
"Best we don't get attached, right?" Mulder had said when he saw her down on the drive to the next motel, to the next location but Scully knew, despite his cool exterior, Mulder missed Toby as well.
