he’s embarrassed, looking at his boyfriend and shaking his head at first. he needs to get back on his medication, he knows he does... so admitting to nate that he’s up because he heard something that wasn’t there is tough. he bites his lip, then reaches for nate, pulling him close and kissing his forehead before admitting, defeated. “-- i swear, it was footsteps. i swear. but i got up and i looked and there’s nothing and i... just... i didn’t mean to wake you.”

"you said you'd look. we have to at least tour the house. if you're still sure there are people under the basement, then we can look at another one."

sammi might blush just a bit. she's not used to being flirted with. really not. it does happen often. but she's oblivious to it. what with her lifestyle and all. but nate is being upfront and bold. and it's not going unnoticed. tonguing the corner of her mouth, he might just end up with her phone number at the end of it all.

dean focused on his breathing, every inch of concentration on the push and pull of his lungs as he laid against the rough, rotting wood. it was easier than allowing himself to give into the pain, that burning sensation that radiated from the side of his torso as dean tried to stem the blood flow with his opposite hand. with his eyes slowly fading in and out of focus, his struggle for consciousness was an odd blessing. However he knew the next day the pain would be back in full force.

So here’s the thing, we never really talked that much (probably because I’m really fucking intimidated by how good and cool they are) but they’re never anything but kind and nice to me. So yes, 10/10 recommend!

James didn’t really remember when he started disliking trains. He knew there was something hidden in his mind about why he couldn’t fucking stand them, but he didn’t really want to pull at that thread. He knew it was a Bucky memory. Those always came with chaos. 

So he let it go and tried, boarded a train in the midwest headed somewhere in the East Coast. He stayed inside as long as he could stand it, but when he a small station in the middle of God knows where, he walked out, backpack over his shoulder and hands shoved inside his pockets.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he muttered under his breath as he walked away from the train.
