Thanks for the ask! I reblogged the ask game post like... a week ago and then suddenly didn't have time to actually do it. But here we go!
the first character I ever fell in love with: Marisa Coulter
a character that I used to love/like, but now do not: Probably... Serafina. I never looovved her, but I always appreciated her I suppose, and now I'm just... eh. The witches to me just kinda... don't work? Like, they're there for plot reasons, but they're so wishy washy and they just don't do it for me. I also don't appreciate how they've been adapted in the show. I love just about everything they've done in the show, but the witches are weak and I don't think Ruta Gedmintas is a good actress. That, or Serafina is just impossible to put on screen. My friend once described the show!witches as actors who think they're performing for National Theatre, but no one's told them otherwise, which I think is hilarious and very accurate.

my ultimate favourite character™: Marisa Coulter duh
prettiest character: Marisa Coulter (i see a trend forming)
my most hated character: Boreal. He's so dumb. He's just the worst. I just hate him a lot and that's that.
my NOTP: Marisa and Boreal. When she snake-jobbed him to death I was so so thrilled.
favourite episode: This is tricky. I can't decide between 1x02, 1x06, and 2x05. These three all have excellent Lyra/Marisa content and I can't WAIT to see more of them in s3.
saddest death: while he is by no means my favourite, Lee's death always hits me, and I think the show did a good job with it. Obvs Masriel's death is also v sad for personal reasons (i.e. I'm obsessed with them), but that scene is almost too thrilling and fast-paced to be tear jerking in the same way that Lee's is.
favourite season: I think season 2 is better objectively in that it's a little less clunky and has more drive, but I like the events and aesthetic of s1 more, mainly just because I like Northern Lights better than The Subtle Knife
least favourite season: well following my last answer, I can't really say.
character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but I hate: Dunno?
my 'you're a piece of trash, but you're still a fave' fave: Marisa Coulter. And Asriel.
my 'beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this' fave: Lyra and Will are both given the short end of the stick and I do love them and they both deserved better for sure.
my 'this ship is wrong and nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but I still love it' ship: Masriel
my 'they're kinda cute, and I lowkey ship them, but I'm not too invested' ship: Lyra and Will. I think they're very sweet and I like the bit when she feeds him the fruit. I think their ending is very sad and I'm excited to see how they handle it on the show.
