My OC Take Over: A Chayne Excerpt

Is it getting hot in here? Oh Chayne, you’re in trouble

Warning: Flirty, teasing, sexual images

“Rumor has it, I make you nervous.” Than cocked a grin at Chayne.

“No.” Wow that sounded convincing.

Thanatos chuckled and Chayne couldn’t tell if more blood went to his face or his groin. He just sounded so good, that deep voice like leather and gasoline.

“So, why do I freak you out so much. Not familiar with demon, huh?” Than pulled up a chair in Ciaran’s kitchen and put his feet up on the table. Then, as if he knew what he was doing to him, Than folded his arms behind his head, elbows wide and muscles flexing.

Dear lord, if Chayne’s heart could beat out of his chest it was going to, which would be a shame considering it was brand new.

“I guess not no. I just came her to reconnect with family, after my… well yeah to see family.” He sounded like a flustered idiot mostly because he was a flustered idiot.

“So, the getting shot and popping up like a daisy thing was probably a little weird for you.” The way Than said the word popped had Chayne imagine something so wrong. Something involved yummy parts popping out of his mouth. Oh jesus baby christ.

“It was.” Well, he wasn’t lying. Seeing the demon get shot in the chest and then wake up a few seconds later not only totally alive but unharmed was strange to say the least. He was still wearing that shirt too, a bit of blood showing on the black fabric around the hole.

Than must have seen him look at it, “Oh right. I never did change.”

And the fucker made everything like a million times worse. He took off his shirt.

Chayne was instantly hard looking at the sculpted masterpiece that was Than’s torso. His skin was a beautiful golden color and as the shirt left his head, Than’s black hair ruffled around his face. There were some things Chayne always wanted to taste, gelato from Italy, Mexican hot chocolate in Mexico, now Than was on that list and Chayne had a feeling he’d be so much sweeter, so much richer, than any of the others.

“You alright there? You’re staring.”

Oh fuck.

“Sorry, yeah. I’m fine. Just you know, you were shot.” And you look like you were carved from marble by nymphomaniac angles.

“Ah no need to worry, I’m good. Might be without a shirt for a bit.”

Than turned away for a moment to hang said shirt on the chair, and Chayne could swear he heard him say, “but you’ll keep me warm, won’t you.” Even if he hadn’t, it was too late. He was already imagining the feeling of Than burying himself deep inside him and riding out the sensation for hours.

He was straining behind his fly and Than was just sitting casually in the fucking chair again, with his arms folded behind his head again. This demon’s gonna be the death of me.

“Could you, I’m mean really… like put a shirt on.” Chayne stumbled over the words far more than he thought possible.

This was absolutely not how he thought his day was going to go. Wake up, have coffee, look up long lost sibling. Yup, no where on that list was meet a hot demon who you desperately want to fuck. Ugh.

“Well I could, but I don’t have one. That’s my only shirt.”

“Your only shirt? You can’t be serious?”

“I travel light.”

Than stared at him intently, his deep, almost black eyes sparkling with what Chanye could only assume was mischief and danger. He squirmed despite himself and looked away as he attempted to adjust the erection that was fighting for some air time.

“DO YOU NOT LIKE WHEN I LOOK AT YOU LIKE THAT?”

“What?” Chayne quickly snapped his eyes to Than’s. Was he actually flirting? Or, was Chayne only wishing he was? What were the chances this guy was gay too?

“You’re a little red. Are you hot?” Than was doing it again, making that face with his crooked grin and dark eyes slightly hooded.

“I’m…”

He really didn’t know what to say. The truth was Chayne was on fire. He was bursting into flames under that powerful stare and all he could think about was tracing the side of Than’s neck with his tongue, tasting him as he licked his way down to his waist. Enjoying let him inside himself in every possible sense. To feel the two of them rock each other into sheer bliss.

There was no way this didn’t show on his face.

Than moved closer to him, that smell of leather and fuel getting stronger. He stopped only inches away from his face, their lips so close all Chayne would have to do is lean forward slightly to kiss him.

“You know, I can think of a few ways to burn off some of that excess heat.” Than smiled, and oh that smile.

“But maybe you’re not ready for that,” He backed up, left Chayne hanging in the air Than had just filled, “After all, I am a demon. Who know what I might do.”

Chayne had a feeling he knew exactly what Than would do, and he wanted it. Right there, right now.

My OC Take Over: Dimitri

About the Drugha, Dimitri’s Clan-

Drugha (droo-gah): A race of demons of which little is known.  They are considered one of the oldest and most powerful of all the demon clans. They inhabit the areas around Russia. However, like many of the humans there, they relocated to America to avoid the country’s political strife during the 1970s and 80s.  The Drugha possess the Hand of Drugha, a gift which allows them to kill nearly everything they touch.  The gift is often hard to control and also leaves the owner on a death high when being used.  The Drugha who uses the gift multiple times will often become frenzied and kill anything it sees until the high has passed.  

D’bahativash (dah-bah-hah-tee-vash): A tradition of the Drugha clan when the young male or female demon that has come of age goes out into the world to see what other demonic cultures are like.  This is an opportunity for them to grow and learn about the world around them.

Miefgho drasalgha (mee-ayf-go drah- sahl-gah): A Drughan word for the dream state connection between two souls.  It is rare but is documented in their myths.  During this enhanced dream state, the souls are able to observe things about the other person’s location, emotions, and some physical sensations.

Niethaflagdha (nee-ay-thah-flahg-dah): A Drughan word for limbo or the space between life and death.  Often referred to as no man’s land because souls cannot see each other when in this realm and it as place of nothingness and silence.  Souls are not supposed to stay here but cross over unto the next land.

Ra’ahkanan (rah-ah-kah-nahn): The start day of the Great War.  A myth told by the Drugha stating that the time will come when the long dead Ancient Drugha Lord will return through someone else’s form to wage war against a great evil.  The exact time is unknown as well as the source and identity of the evil.

Can I also say I appreciate that he's really fuckin old but talks like a teenager? A thousands of years old demon saying "whatevs" makes me smile

“Okay, seriously language changes like every five minutes and I’ve learned to keep up. I can still speak in my native tongue, the language of the Mors, but it’s stuffy and takes for fucking ever to say anything. I like that humans and demons have adopted a simpler, more direct, if more flashy, way to say things. So yeah, ‘whatevs’ is a fave. I am also partial to butt nugget, shitstick, and of course the best word of them all, FUCK.”

So, I gotta know. What was Than's reaction to waking up and finding out his heart had been removed and that huge scar on his torso? Is he self conscious about it?

So, this is like a huge part of his book. He’s never had scars before and has never been a donor for someone because he typically takes better care to die and get the fuck out of dodge or avoid dangerous situations. But, he’d be down, feeling pretty bad for himself, and BAM! 

Motorcycle vs. bus. Motorcycle looses. 

Than’s pretty concerned that whoever gets his heart is going to die because he’s a demon and what are the odds they checked for that when they saw his other stats matched the patient? There’s a bit about him that feels guilty because he doesn’t see it ending well for the poor human who gets it. 

He’s also a bit, “well out of my hands, or chest I should say.” He can’t exactly take it back. The scar totally freaks him out and he thinks it might be a sign about his impending death or something. He is totally wrong. It’s there for a completely different, spoilery, reason. He’s not super self conscious about the scar because it is faint but it does make him feel weird when he is getting intimate with Chayne for the first time. I believe I wrote a scene with that…

He couldn’t deny the invitation and Chayne stripped him as quickly as he could. God, the sight of him.Than was incredibly strong and his pale skin was pulled taught over the man’s muscles. Then Chayne noticed the faint scar on his chest in the shape of a Y.

“What is that? I saw it before.”

“Not now. I’ll tell you later.”

He was going to protest slightly but then Than yanked him around and pressed himself against Chayne’s back.

yeah, so Than was more, “No no let’s not go there let’s just bone.”

Oooh that’s good well I don’t want to get into spoiler territory but I’ll say that no one knows that he feels especially guilty about loosing his family because he was taken when he was exploring the outside world and was meant to return with new information but secretly, he planned on never going back. And now he can’t because they’re dead.

Mexico? That’s a bit warm for me tastes. ‘Fore Hope and Ciona, I never really wanted anythin’ more than just gettin’ away from Marcus. But I… ugh god, I did’na really think I was worth all that much. I was’na lookin’ to actually enjoy meself. Now, well now I have a daughter and almost a wife, if we ever do actually get married, and with Roger… I need to be here.
