Stain headcanons using the sheet I just reblogged because fuck you no-one ever does anything with Stain
~ Stain's real name is Akaguro Chizome and that's what I refer to him as ~
• Does he know how to shoot a gun?
Chi does know how, he just doesn't like to use them.
It doesn't work as well as a katana or a sword or even a dagger, because he's a close-combat guy. Especially when you put his Quirk in mind, if fighting style doesn't matter.
He might consider to get the opponent down then go for his short range, but again, that's notbhow he fighrs.
• What weapon does he prefer?
Long swords and/or katanas. The sharper, the better; the longer, the better.
Chizome doesn't like getting too close, which is why he throws a lot of his shorter weapons.
• Is he physically strong? Does he consider himself strong?
He definetly is physically strong, and he knows it.
Mentally strong aswell. He proved that one to himself with his nose in a way I believe we've all heard by now but in case you haven't...

• Does he get into fights often? If so, does he usually win?
He picked fights with the yakuza in his vigilante days and picks fights with false heros and shams now.
He wins.
He always wins.
Almost.
Kuckleduster was his first 'loss,' if loss means retreat. He definetly wouldn't count it as a loss, as he learned things from this.
Deku and Shoto and Tenya were his second, technically the first if we don't count vigilantes.
• How does he feel about killing people?
If they're a hero he deems unworthy, fake, or a sham, then he doesnt care.
• How would he answer the trolley problem?
Stain's ideology isn't to kill as many people, it's to rid the society of the people it doesn't need.
He won't give a straight answer.
• While fighting, does he tend to go a little overboard
Yeah. Just because he has a conviction and a motivation doesn't mean he's not a sadist and actually enjoys what he does, if not verbally. He sticks to his ideals and never transitions into 'because it's fun.’
• Does he have violent urges all the time?
Easy answer is yes.
Longer answer;
Chizome has aforementioned motivations.
He doesn't kill without a reason. He doesn't have an urge to stab someone because they pissed him off that one time in high school, or because they talked some smack, or because they shoved him down in elementary.
If he's watching the news and a hero he claims is a sham comes on, then yes, he does have an urge and and itch that won't go away till he scratches.
• Has your he anyone before? If so, describe his first kill.
He's killed over 30 people and crippled even more.
After protesting doesn't work in the slightest, he decides upon taking things into his own hands.
His first kill was way back when he was still known as Stendhal.
He was killing the yakuza and people who were selling drugs for a while, and as much as I'd love to make up a story, there's a lot of blanks that have been filled that make it hard and make my anxiety go crazy.
• Would he take on a job that included hurting/killing people for easy money?
Again, if they're a phony hero, he doesn't care. Hell, he'd want to a little more because bes actually getting paid. If they try to get him to kill/hurr someone he doesn't deem as unworthy, he won't do it.
• How easy would it be to hurt and/or kill him?
Onna scale from one to ten, it's probably an...
You'd get your ass busted.
Surprise attacks don't work on him. He knows how to hold his own even without his weapons and is damn strong.
He can make quick work without any blades once he has even the smallest bit of blood.
• Would your he hurt animals on purpose, excluding insects & arachnids?
Nope.
Unless it's a spider.
He hates spiders.
• Would he ever do anything bad to someone he loves
No.
Unless they're going for fame or money in the hero industry.
He has a problem then.
Chi is ruthless.
He doesn't give most anyone a chance, but the few people he love are a different story.
That doesn't mean he won't kill/cripple them if they don't listen to him and stop.
