I’ve just completed a 60-minute Biodynamic Meditation. Got into my sitting posture, and revisited it several times whenever I noticed a little bit of neck strain. It feels good to keep the neck elongated, with the face tilted slightly down to lengthen the back of the neck and open the AO joint where neck and head meet. I had the usual back-and-forth between Monkey Mind and Quiet Mind. I was around a lot of people and out in the city yesterday, way more than usual. Integrating. Where the healing energy eventually settled was around my left eye socket. Since I started receiving craniosacral therapy 15 years ago, from time to time I’ve noticed my cranial structure — bones, membranes, tissues — shift slightly. I don’t know where these cranial strain patterns came from, but likely some are from birth. Being born — our journey into this world — is the first major challenge of life, for most of us. It leaves imprints. The body wants to heal, to move in the direction of restoring health, no matter how long a strain has been there…because all healing takes place in the present. I sensed the swirliness of the inherent healing process, and for some unknown amount of time, I went beyond the observing quality of attention and simply “was”. Bodhi svaha? Don’t know, can’t say. #biodynamicmeditation #healingfromtheinsideout #selfhealing #craniosacralbiodynamics #craniosacraltherapy #craniosacral #cranio #neckposture #integration #lefteye #cranium #aojoint #monkeymind #quietmind #strainpatterns #birth #challenge #imprints #restoringhealth #swirliness #presentmoment #bodhisvaha (at Austin, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmUMPAVpY59/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
