I started the year with one goal in mind, to find a balance. I have been working out kinda crazy for over a decade now, going through injuries and pain. I noticed that doing too much of anything isn’t healthy. My soul purpose of working out is to be able to do any kind of outdoors activities I want, I want to be in nature, do exciting things and do them well. I cut my “GYM” workouts on half, focused on spending time outdoors instead, with a few hours doing HIIT at home, also I dropped using weights altogether. Result?! I have painless workouts, my injuries are all healed, and surprisingly I have more energy for my outdoors activities as well. Most people workout coz they want to look good. I think it’s pointless. Feeling good in my skin and having the energy to spend days outdoors is all that matter, because the “beauty” on the outside won’t last forever, we’re all getting old anyway. Live the moment and live it well, be healthy and satisfied with yourself.
