Sometimes, because of bad choices, you take away your own voice. How long until I get it back? How long until the words coming out of my mouth are heard? There are truthful now. These days I speak less, but I mean more.
Don't we all deserve a second chance? What is the point of going on if there is not even a slim chance for redemption? My double exile is consuming me. I'm doing my time, but it feels like an eternity.
