I’m small so my heartbeat is very visible. It moves my arms a little when it beats and can definitely be seen in my chest.

When it’s elevated, it moves my whole frame.

If I’m anxious and it makes my heart beat fast, I get afraid that people will be able to tell if they glance at my chest for a bit too long.

My heart moves it a lot. It visibly thumps. >_<

One time someone I know gently grabbed my wrist to get my attention and said “Wow, you’re thin! I felt your pulse very strongly through your sleeve!”

I was wearing a thick jacket. They started telling everyone like it was the coolest thing ever.

It was embarrassing, but maybe it’s a cool trait. :,D

I think the fact that my true emotions can be seen clearly in my chest is cute, but it may be too intimate for just anyone to see. Thankfully, no one is looking.

(Not a roleplay invite, just my experience. IDK if it’s normal for petite people to get shaken by their own heart or not. Does anybody else have this?🤔)

damn i keep thinking to myself over and over how i wish someone i know very well last few yrs, would listen to my heart face to face while feeling every beat for a long time in 1 setting with this said person, he's coming this early summer to here so i guess we'll see but damn i'm going to be damn shy to ask em, LOL. he might do this with me and also let me listen to his heart while feeling his every beat as well <3. we're just friends, but to do something like this is a friendly -intimant thing w/big meaning and also full trust. also thinking of this well, made me also heart horny xD. (this fetish is 2 sides: sexual and non-sexual i.e. for relaxation/meditation)

As much as it’s my favorite game and probably always will be, Dragon Age: Inquisition has a lot of issues, and one of the ones that has always really bothered me is how you can’t comfort the poor elf at the beginning of the game when you wake up the second time. Like, she’s falling to her knees, begging for your forgiveness, and the only thing you can do is ask her questions? She’s afraid, has almost certainly had a history with mistreatment and abuse and fear for that to be her reaction, and you can’t do anything about it? 

I can kind of have not understand Trevelyan not having that option, but like, not even a “hey, it’s okay, you’re safe with me” from Lavellan? There’s no way the Dalish don’t know at least some of the struggles and mistreatment of the City Elves. They share a lot of the same pain. They are both victims of the same racism. Lavellan being Dalish and not a City Elf isn’t an excuse. It shouldn’t even matter because she’s afraid and cultural differences don’t mean you don’t have empathy.

There’s not even an option for Cadash and Adaar, who could similarly relate and understand.

But no, we can only ask her questions she can’t possibly know the answer to and just put even more pressure on her. 

“So they’re pleased?” “It’s over?” 

I don’t remember the third, but those are heavy questions. Questions you probably wouldn’t ask someone who’s on their knees in front of you, afraid and begging your forgiveness for the crime of walking in the goddamn room, unless you’re so desensitized to that that you no longer care.

My reaction to her has always been to want to hug her. Almost all of my Inquisitors share that. I don’t know if that would be the right reaction, especially because she’s probably scared of the Inquisitor too, but I just wish there was a way to offer her some kind of comfort and reassurance. To just tell her it’s okay instead of ignoring her.

I don’t think she even has a name? BioWare honestly what the hell? I don’t know if it’s a symptom of Lavellan, Cadash, and Adaar being added after Travelyan because the Inquisitor was originally supposed to be a male human, but even then there should be an option for something.
