Hi hello I managed to start reading a fanfic that instantly hit that one point that a bunch of fics always hit and ohhhh my gosh I am going to start biting here have a tiny rant:
#ooooo I'm gonna bite something#read a fic where in the first chapter the character was hesitant and ready to fight and verbally fighting with the others#and then the second chapter they learned they were actually blood related this whole time#and suddenly it's oh look brotherly love to wake you up with supportive parents to bring you shopping after you tell them a little bit of#trauma just so they can feel appropriately like well that's not gonna happen ever again you hear me and of course they trust that whole#heartedly#ohhhh I will go feral I will bite I cannot /stand/ this#love is not simple and easy and quick!!#especially not familial to someone who has /never/ loved their family before!!!!#love is built bloody stone by broken brick and it can collapse at any point and need support at any time#it doesn't just fricken appear!!!!
