can we please talk more about imogen being understanding when nick tells her they don't fit, she didn't push him to say or explain more, she didn't talk shit to their peer group when they asked about the date. she was so mature and especially her smile when nick runs to charlie in the last episode - the realization what he actually meant back then - is so wonderful.
made this edit on tik tok, really proud of it actually. i haven’t edited in years so i’m still learning.

i don't know how to explain but charlie spring/joe locke is the representation i always wanted to have. charlie having to face struggles because of his sexuality but also mental health and just teenager issues and they are portrayed so well + him not being toxic and being supportive of nick, not forcing him to anything or not accepting him like many other shows with gay couples would have made him do. and joe being such a sweet person, playing charlie so well and being so open and happy about his role as well as the impact the show/his character has on lgbtq+ people is just so wonderful and special to me.
this scene holds a special place in my heart.
tori unconditionally being there for charlie and involved in his life makes me want to cry. it seems like tori knows exactly what to say, especially when charlie opened up to her about feeling like he ruins people's life. she didn't try to invalidate his feelings, she listened and accepted how he feels and then told him something that made him feel better. i'm so unstable
i noticed the rainbows being in certain shots in heartstopper but i rewatched it and didn’t realize the blue and pink colouring in scenes, especially surrounding Nick. Ahh i love the details.
