Willow inhaled softly, closing her eyes for the slightest of moments. The night air was calming, and it relaxed her, just not enough for her to let her guard down. Opening her golden eyes again, she pulled her jacket tighter around her petite frame, shielding her body from the cool evening breeze. Despite the dangers she knew were lurking all around them, Willow didn’t show a hint of fear and neither did the gentleman who was occupying her company. There were things about the handsome young male that she could relate to, such as spending time alone, taking a ‘walk’ through the woods.
Smirking at the young males comment, she shrugged her shoulder. “Like you said, there are bad people out here, and I am always prepared.” Willow laughed lightly. She reached down towards her boot and she revealed the stakes the were hidden there. “My father always used to say that you could never be too prepared.” She moved her arms back to her sides, wrapping them around herself.
When he finally spoke up with an answer to her question, she raised an eyebrow at him. She tilted her head to the side, causing her chestnut curls to fall over her small shoulder. Willow was shocked, as she hadn’t expected him to know about the supernatural creatures that had been inhabiting the small town of Mystic Falls for hundreds of years now. She reached down into her boot and she tossed him a stake, watching as he caught it with ease. “It is highly dangerous, especially dealing with a vampire.” She shook her head, knowing that it was a lucky chance that she found him. It wouldn’t have been long before one of the vampires had gotten ahold of him. “Now you have a weapon, in case you happen to come across one.” She shrugged her shoulder, not sure whether or not she could trust the man. When he mentioned the forest’s natural defense against vampires, she couldn’t help but laugh and give a slight nod of agreement.
“I actually just moved here, I had read up on the vampire problem your town seems to have.” She gave a slight shrug of her shoulders. “I decided to move here and help take care of the problem.” Willow watched the male to see his reaction. When he asked what she was tracking, thoughts of the vampire she had been chasing flooded her head. “I was after this vampire i saw in the bar, but he is long gone by now.” She sighed softly. “I mostly track vampires and werewolves. Since witches don’t cause many issues or deaths, we hunters tend to leave them alone. We only go after them if they pose a real threat to the humans.” Willow smiled. “I am Willow, by the way.”
