I am so excited my Miracle-Gro Small Composter - Compact Single Chamber Outdoor Garden Compost Bin - Heavy Duty 18.5 Gallon (70 Liter) just came in today. This guy is small enough I can keep it on my patio or in the small space in front of my patio in this case or on a balcony. I've been wanting to do this for years and I finally was able to find a small composter under $100.00. It was fairly easy to put together, although my only complaint was that one of the drill holes wasn't complete on on of my legs. You also want to make sure that the sides are completely snapped together. Theoretically I should be able to reduce my waste from kitchen waste by 20% and have fresh compost for my potted plants. Time to practice what I believe in.

With my little girl being born in November I'm starting to get the itch to create a Family Grimoire I'm just not sure what method to use to go about it. I like the idea of the junk journal and the scrapbook methods, but the 3 ring binder with printed pages and cover slips looks more practical. What do you think? Do you have any thoughts or ideas?
