So, I had some bad PC issues yesterday, and had to abandon job application after everything kept crashing. My second monitor became unresponsive, tabs kept crashing, it was a mess.

So, this morning I figured I'd crack open my mahoosive case, get the PC Cleaner blower out, give all the fans a good clean, and check what could be the issue.

And the second I removed my GPU from its port, it hit me.

That's my main drive there. My WD Blue M.2 drive. Right. There. Under the GPU heat pipes.

So, the problem I've been having, may well be... the giant freaking copper pipes dumping heat directly over the chips of my M.2 drive that is my primary drive.

So, yeah. PCI-E 4x to M.2 SATA card installed in lower slot, away from giant heat sources, and we'll see if it behaves better.
