I once read a fic in which Heaven (all of Heaven, the winners, the angels of all classes and types, and all other Heavenborn and residence) held a yearly festival to celebrate “The Lost Mother” which was Lilith as she was seen as the Devil’s first victim. Your AU really reminds me of that and I really like that ❤️

Your Lilith redesign is great (thank you for making her a WOC), BUT I do have to say Adam WAS "misogynistic" in the sense that he expected Lilith to stay beneath him. That part is actually true to the Bible more or less (she refused to lay under him during sex). This is a natural inclination more than anything, because Adam (men) were created first, he's deemed as superior. What we see in the show from him currently is different, which we can assume he developed over the centuries.

The Bible itself is very fast and loose with misogyny. It definitely considers women lesser than men, but it does stress that they should be respected and cared for. It's different than the misogyny of most human history. So expecting Lilith to be beneath him wouldn't have been with the intention to bring her harm or make her feel less than human, it was just with the understanding that he was made first so he was the one to be in charge

Okay lemme start with a thank you!! I love my Lilith and I'm so glad other people do as well <3 she's my girlie!! But I have to acknowledge that I very much know that the Bible itself (in whichever form you pick of it) is very misogynistic. I'm using the Various Versions Of The Bible as a looser guideline, viewing it more as a collection of stories. I'm not looking to stay super true to most of it, just the key parts. As for Adam and his character and what I intend to do, I don't think it makes sense for misogyny to be real before the concept of being an asshole is. It's stressed in the story that Adam was made a control freak. Regardless of how "not modern" the sexism is, I don't really love it lmao. I still want Adam to end up being somewhat sexist, that's not something I'm entirely changing- Eden is SUPPOSED to be a paradise, what would Adam even be controlling about then? It makes more sense Post-Apple with Eve but Lilith and him barely had the time to be toxic/have an imbalance in the relationship. I'll take more in depth about it when we get there but I'm using the storybook we're shown in Episode one of Hazbin to be wildly inaccurate on purpose due to Lucifer trying to shape Charlie's view of his relationship to Lilith.

Also, I know canonically Charlie is 200, I've been tracking this series since I was younger and have been watching Viv's art for a long time. I just love Charlie's character, her naivety works really well as a contrast- the main issue is that it does NOT make sense for a 200 year old creature to behave as cluelessly as she does. At all. She's a spunky 20-something! She's bright eyed and bushy tailed! This is MY remake so I'm remaking in a way that makes me satisfied with the story.

I made Lilith leave when she was 13 or whatever because that's something hard for a 13 year old to fully process. The age at which you lose a parent heavily changes how you cope, what you do. I think it's important for her to be so young so that she is still holding onto that childish sort of hope that she had back then, maybe she'll come back.

YOU GET IT YOU SOOOO GET IIIIIT. For me I still like to keep her anger, so it feels more like she's thrashing against everything but still trapped in her situation. But you writing her to be more Reserved and just depressing.... So good. Soooo good you get it you GET IT

Would Adam really hurt Eve? He loved her enough to leave the Garden untainted.. surely he searches for his love even after all this time?

Oh absolutely not. Regardless of how she’s changed he doesn’t have the heart for it. That’s his girl. That’s his wife. That’s his best friend. He could never do that.

However, that’s harder for Eve to understand after all of these years. Because what if he doesn’t forgive her for killing Cain? For leaving him alone? What if he found out that she slept with Lucifer? She doesn’t want to take the risk.

two questions:

1-are all sins evil??

2-did eve married lucifer after Lilith’s death?,and how does she feel about lucifer?

! Okie I'll answer two first because it is a bit more simple!

2. Eve hates Lucifer but often uses him as validation post her death, she did not marry him but she is Charlie's bio mother. (Though she never claims her, she has a tough relationship with the idea of motherhood) Lilith is still Lucifers Wife in my rewrite of things. Eve is super complicated so her post is taking a bit to write out since I don't want to do her a disservice. After Lilith died, Eve didn’t want to see anyone really, especially not Lucifer. 1. As for the sins being evil, yes and no. All of the sins in my versions were angels, before The Apple Incident they were relatively well adjusted. Sure, they had tendencies and signs of what was to come but they were all at one point good "people" besides arguably Lucifer who was in full control of himself until The Apple Incident. Post-Apple it was only a manner of time before the Sins started getting compulsions, an itch they had to scratch that eventually led to each one being booted out of Heaven by Raguel. For example Mammon WAS the Angel of Prosperity and was in charge of the Treasury of Heaven- but after Sin was made he would do little things like hold onto people too tight, forget what personal space is entirely, etc. Sure, before he was a bit intense about his job but suddenly it's more than that. And all of the Sins experience that itch for eternity. They can't help what they are in the same way you can't blame an bear for attacking someone in the woods or a hawk picking up a chicken. It's nature at that point. So yes, they're evil but they also no longer have the choice to be anything BUT evil so it's a touch complicated. All of them view it differently, and it impacts each of their social lives/day-to-day differently! I would argue that Ozzie is the least effected by his sin in his social life and that this makes him more judgmental of the other sins because he doesn't understand how debilitating it can be for someone like Levi. Levi I would say is the most isolated due to her sin, but every one of them has a lot to deal with on the regular. TLDR: Yes but no but yes but no
