Info Post for My Fic!

Scientific Method is an in-progress Heavy/Medic slowburn. It's not far along, even their friendship has still to develop. It will span from day one up until the latest comic.

Updates every two weeks or so!

We follow mainly Medic and Heavy as they get acquainted, become closer, and eventually fall for eachother over the course of their time at Mann Co. Both of them are apprehensive to accept or even awknolegde these feelings exist, and even more afraid to act on them. We watch helplessly as these poor guys struggle to cope, seeing every conflicting thought and emotion that crosses their mind.

Includes:

- Regular POV shifts to show both of their internal processes (as well as other character's)

- Intellectual Heavy

- Medic's (and Demo's) accent is written (is toned down in later chapters, easier to type/read)

- They/Them Pyro

- Plenty of humor and jokes! Angst comes later.

- (Will later have) Canon events such as Meet the Medic, Expiration date, comic events, etc.

- Background ships may occur, I'm uncertain of which ones yet.

- I try to give equal attention to the other mercs.

[Rated Teen (13+)] For language and violence typical of TF2. (The future may hold spicy scenes in which I might change this rating)

Is as canon complaint/in-character as possible, but of course some differences:

- - The time span of 8 years they spent battling is 6 at most because I don't want to go crazy with time skips but can't make enough content to span that long. (This may change.)

- - The current location build is a jumble of a few maps thanks to lazy setup early on. Future locations may not fit with the game maps but will be more accurate.

- - Use of headcanons is limited. Heaviest use you might see is for Medic's backstory, making use of what hints we do have for it.

Sad that it's too early in the story to write a Halloween special, though :'c Maybe I'll release it on Christmas? Or Valentine's Day? But I would like to make a Smissmas special, too. Hm.
